Xbox Game Pass subscribers need to brace themselves, as Sunday, November 15 is shaping up to be a particularly brutal day for the subscription service. Those signed up for the Ultimate tier of Xbox Game Pass get a lot of bang for their buck. For roughly $23 per month, Game Pass Ultimate gives subscribers access to everything across all tiers of the service, including brand-new, day one releases and classic games.

When it comes to day one releases, 2026 has been a pretty strong year for Xbox Game Pass. Just recently, Gears of War: E-Day joined Game Pass Ultimate as a day one release. Earlier in 2026, Forza Horizon 6 was released on Game Pass to rave reviews, with the open world racing game standing out as one of the highest-rated new releases of the year. But while 2026 has mostly been a win for Game Pass, it’s also had its fair share of challenges. The next big hurdle for the service is coming on November 15, when a whopping 13 games are all getting removed on the same day.

List of Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 15

  • 1000xResist (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Barbie Horse Trails (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Firefighting Simulator – The Squad (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • GoldenEye 007 (Cloud and Console)
  • Great God Grove (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Moonlighter (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Pigeon Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Police Simulator: Patrol Officers (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Relic Hunters Legend (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Total Chaos (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Winter Burrow (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Wreckfest (Cloud, Console, and PC)

On Sunday, November 15, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have to say goodbye to 13 games. 1000xResist, Barbie Horse Trails, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Firefighting Simulator – The Squad, GoldenEye 007, Great God Grove, Moonlighter, Pigeon Simulator, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Relic Hunters Legend, Total Chaos, Winter Burrow, and Wreckfest are all on their way out. It’s sad to see any of these games removed from Game Pass, but there are some removals that will likely sting more than others.

1000xResist is a critically-acclaimed game, for example, so it’s a bummer that Game Pass subscribers will no longer be able to play it with their subscription. GoldenEye 007 is one of the most influential and important games of all time, and Xbox-owned Rare developed it, so its removal is also disappointing. Total Chaos, meanwhile, is a well-reviewed horror game that fans of the genre may want to check out before its removed on the 15th.

It’s not all doom and gloom when it comes to the November 15 Xbox Game Pass update. That same day, a selection of games will be made available for the Essential tier. On that day, Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Gears of War: Judgment, Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata, and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. These are all Xbox-owned games, and so it’s great to see that they are finally being made available to those signed up for the cheapest tier of Game Pass.

There will also be plenty of new games added to Xbox Game Pass in November 2026 for Ultimate and PC tier subscribers. So while it’s definitely devastating to see so many games removed from Xbox Game Pass all at once, at least there are fresh titles on the way as well.
