November 18 is Going to Be a Super Busy Day for PS Plus

This coming Tuesday, November 18 will be a particularly busy day for Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service thanks to major new arrivals and big departures. PlayStation Plus is updated a couple of times a month. The Essential tier gets an update to kick off every month, while the Extra and Premium tiers are updated in the middle of each month.

Whenever the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus are updated, it’s bittersweet for subscribers. On one hand, updates mean brand-new games to play on the Extra and Premium tiers. On the other hand, those same updates mean saying goodbye to some of the titles that have been available on the service up to that point.

As far as new games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium on November 18, there are nine titles to look forward to. On that day, PS Plus Extra subscribers can look forward to the blockbuster open world game Grand Theft Auto 5, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Monster Jam Showdown, MotoGP 25, well-reviewed survival game Pacific Drive, Still Wakes the Deep, the hilarious comedy game Thank Goodness You’re Here, and the tricky puzzle game The Talos Principle 2. Most of the new games coming to PS Plus Extra on November 18 are available to both PS4 and PS5 gamers, but Pacific Drive, Still Wakes the Deep, and The Talos Principle 2 are PS5-only.

New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for November 2025

  • Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS4, PS5)
  • Insurgency: Sandstorm (PS4, PS5)
  • Monster Jam Showdown (PS4, PS5)
  • MotoGP 25 (PS4, PS5)
  • Pacific Drive (PS5)
  • Still Wakes the Deep (PS5)
  • Thank Goodness You’re Here! (PS4, PS5)
  • The Talos Principle 2 (PS5)

Premium

  • Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS4, PS5)

PS Plus Premium subscribers can play all the games coming to the Extra tier, plus they will also have access to Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a remake of the original Tomb Raider and part of the fan-favorite Legend trilogy. It’s worth noting that Tomb Raider: Anniversary isn’t the only Tomb Raider game available to subscribers. They can also check out Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Tomb Raider: Legend. The addition of Tomb Raider: Anniversary means that only Tomb Raider: Underworld will be the only game in the trilogy missing from PS Plus come the November 18 update.

The version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary being added to PS Plus Premium on November 18 is an emulation of the PS2 version of the game.

PS Plus Games Leaving November 2025

  • Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus – The Awakening of Golden Jazz (PS4)
  • Battlefield 5 (PS4)
  • Digimon Survive (PS4)
  • Football Manager 2024 (PS5)
  • Like a Dragon: Ishin! (PS4, PS5)
  • Synapse (PSVR2)
  • Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (PS4)

There are some exciting new games coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus on November 18, but that same day subscribers will have to say goodbye to a handful of titles as well. Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus – The Awakening of Gold Jazz, Battlefield 5, Digimon Survive, Football Manager 2024, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Synapse, and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes are all on the chopping block. Battlefield 5 is a relatively well-received entry in the long-running FPS franchise and will definitely be missed, while Digimon Survive is a narrative-driven tactics game that has its fans as well. Like a Dragon: Ishin is a spin-off of the Like a Dragon series, while Synapse is one of the few remaining PSVR2 games available on PS Plus Premium, so it’s especially sad to see it get the boot.

But Wait, There’s More

ps plus red dead redemption

We don’t know the full lineup of new games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in December 2025 yet, but we do know of at least one game that’s coming to the service next month. It was recently confirmed that the PS4 and PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption is coming to PS Plus Extra on December 2, so subscribers can mark their calendars accordingly.
