With Grand Theft Auto 6 set to launch in just over a month, Rockstar Games is running out of time to show off the biggest remaining details of its next open-world game. The developer has already given fans new looks at Vice City, protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and the many activities waiting across Leonida. There is still plenty Rockstar could reveal before launch, though, and its latest updates have given GTA 6 fans reason to keep an eye on the calendar.
Rockstar has taken a measured approach to marketing GTA 6, releasing new information in stages instead of showing everything at once. The studio has highlighted the game’s characters, wildlife, music, and the world players will explore, with each update offering another look at what separates GTA 6 from previous Grand Theft Auto games. With November getting closer, the question is what Rockstar plans to show next (and whether another major trailer could be on the way).
GTA 6 News Reveal Schedule
October 15 is the next date to watch for a potential GTA 6 reveal, based on Rockstar’s established news pattern. Since the GTA 6 Extended Look on Thursday, August 27, its biggest official reveals have come out every Thursday since: from the GTA 6 DualSense controller reveal a week later to the recent preview of GTA 6‘s Radio Stations. As such, fans can expect more news on October 15, and every Thursday thereafter until GTA 6‘s release date (also a Thursday).

Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.
The latest update arrived on October 8, when Rockstar shared new details about GTA 6‘s radio stations and hosts. The preview covered six stations spanning modern Latin music, country, African music, classic metal, pop, and Southern rap and hip-hop. Rockstar also highlighted on-demand podcasts and how music will fit into the experience of exploring Leonida. It was a closer look at an important part of the Grand Theft Auto formula, but it was not the kind of gameplay-focused reveal some fans may be hoping to see next.
GTA 6 Trailer 3
A new GTA 6 trailer would certainly fit the conversation around any of these updates. At the very least, a proper GTA 6 Trailer 3 feels like it could be on the cards for one of these dates, especially with Rockstar approaching the final stretch before launch. Rockstar Games has talked a lot about how GTA 6‘s open world is interwoven into its story, but it would be nice to see that in action.
For now, October 15 is worth watching for the next big update from Rockstar, but fans should not treat a new trailer as a certainty until Rockstar announces one. Whether the next update features new footage or focuses on another part of GTA 6 remains to be seen, but many fans are as eager as ever to see more from the open-world map of Vice City and Leonida.
