From the moment 4-year-old Cameron first stepped out into Glimmer in Spyro 2, he knew video games were going to play a central role in the rest of his life. Though he never planned to make it the focal point of his career, Cameron spent the vast majority of his spare time growing up playing games, and following graduation from the University of Reading, he thought he’d try his hand at writing a few reviews. Six years later, Cameron has reviewed countless games, written thousands of news and feature pieces, and interviewed a wide range of developers for GameRant.

Meccha Chameleon, one of the most popular multiplayer games of 2026 so far, has just been announced for Nintendo Switch 2. Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, Meccha Chameleon will be arriving on Switch 2 later today.

Meccha Chameleon Is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Developed by LEMORION, Meccha Chameleon hit Steam back in June and quickly took the gaming world by storm. A similar premise to immensely popular party game modes like Prop Hunt, Meccha Chameleon sees a team of players attempting to hide from a team of catchers. The unique hook here, however, is that players can paint their blank character model to fit in with the surrounding environment, whether it’s a brick wall, an exit sign, or some cow-shaped cardboard cutouts.

Meccha Chameleon will be available for all Nintendo Switch 2 owners later today via the Nintendo eShop. That said, there’s no official eShop listing for Meccha Chameleon available at the time of writing, which means the game’s price on Switch 2 is still unclear. Meccha Chameleon currently retails for $5.99 on Steam.
