Earlier this week, Overwatch debuted the game’s latest support hero, Jetpack Cat. But it hasn’t taken long for players to figure how to utilize Jetpack Cat’s abilities in unexpected ways that are making Overwatch’s battles even wilder than before.

For example, using Jetpack Cat to carry allies can give a team a tactical advantage as they rain fire from above.

One Overwatch player on Instagram described the following pairing of Jetpack Cat and Reaper as “the chandelier of death and despair.”

Jetpack Cat has also demonstrated her Ultimate ability to hurl enemies to their deaths, or even catch allies when someone tries to pull the same trick on them. Some users have let Jetpack Cat grab D.Va’s bomb or drop heroes behind enemy defenses.

Mass Effect voice actress Jennifer Hale is lending her voice to Jetpack Cat–one of five new heroes that debuted in the game this week. The latest additions are part of Blizzard’s big rebrand of Overwatch 2, which no longer has the 2 in its title.

So far, the revamp has proven so popular that Overwatch surged on Steam with over 124,000 concurrent players. If the goal was to reinvigorate the game’s fan base, it appears to have been very successful. The new Season 1 launched on February 10, and we’ll soon see how long this fresh momentum can last for Overwatch.
