While Overwatch fans are mainly excited about Season 2 because of the new Damage hero Sierra, there’s also interest in the new cosmetics it will be bringing. And, thanks to a recent leak, Overwatch fans can see half of the battle pass cosmetics earlier than usual.
One of these skins will be for the new hero, and it gives Sierra quite the makeover. While her default skin gives her a beret, a long pink ponytail, and a combat uniform, the drone-wielding character has a much more casual appearance in her first battle pass skin. The currently unnamed skin dresses her up in a paint-covered waistcloth, backwards cap, and what seems to be fully dark hair instead of her usual shade of pink. As always, though, the core of the design is retained, as her crop top, drone rest point, and other details remain intact. Intriguingly, she’s the one battle pass skin not part of Season 2’s elven theme.
This Devastating Overwatch April Fools’ Prank Deserves to Be More Than a Joke
While one Overwatch community gag didn’t fool me for long, I can’t stop myself from thinking about how badly I wish it were true.
Overwatch 2’s Season 2 Skin Lineup Brings a Panda, Mythics, and Tons of Elves to the Game
As shown by Twitter user @intercellular, the other battle pass skins fully embrace the elf aesthetic, with the following characters getting some pointy-eared outfits:
However, while all four of these heroes (and potentially the other battle pass skin recipients) have similar ears, there are some distinct differences that set them apart. Illari’s glowing eyes make her look slightly creepier than the others, and her leafy ensemble contrasts with Ashe’s flowery vibe. Whether B.O.B. will also be an elf remains a mystery, but given how good weaponry like Wuyang’s staff looks with this sort of skin, B.O.B. is sure to impress.
As usual, there is a special seasonal bundle that provides players with enough currency to buy the battle pass and a special skin, with Jetpack Cat getting this honor two Seasons in a row. While she was a fighter pilot in the previous bundle, this time around, Fika is dressed up in an adorable panda costume. As for the next Mythics, Genji is confirmed to be getting the Mythic weapon, which looks like a fiery version of his Oni skin gear. Soldier: 76 will be getting the Mythic skin, but with no image of the item, there’s no telling if it will follow the theme or be entirely different.

Players won’t have long to wait before the rest of the skins are unveiled, as Overwatch Season 2 releases on Tuesday, April 14. A trailer showing everything that is on the way can be expected before then, and until it arrives, players can enjoy Overwatch’s April Fools’ mode or work on their competitive Drives.
