- Breed Pals in Palworld to create optimized abilities and collect the strongest creatures for various purposes like mounts, warriors, and workers on the farm.
- The breeding process in Palworld is complicated and requires new structures, rare ingredients, and even cooking. Passive skills are passed down from parent Pals, so players need to hunt for the best skills for their desired Pal.
- By selectively breeding a four-star Direhowl with 3 speed-related passive skills, a Palworld player achieved an impressive 60% increase in speed. Fully leveling up a Pal’s Partner Skill can further maximize speed.
A dedicated Palworld player has bred an incredibly fast Direhowl. These rideable wolf-like Pals are already “slightly faster than most mounts” according to their Partner Skill, so this well-bred Direhowl is impressively quick. Considering all there is to explore and accomplish in Palworld, having a fast mount can be a smart addition to a team.
In Palworld, players can breed Pals to collect the strongest creatures of each type, which is important when creating the best Pals to use as mounts, warriors, workers on the farm, and more. While every Pal comes with a set of skills and passive buffs, breeding enables players to create Pals with optimized abilities. The breeding process in Palworld is quite complicated and requires new structures, rare ingredients, and even cooking. Additionally, passive skills are passed down from parent Pals, so players should be prepared to hunt a lot to collect the best skills based on what abilities their desired Pal needs.
Palworld’s Key Dev Was Picked Up From a Convenience Store
The PocketPair CEO shares an inspiring story about how he found one of Palworld’s ‘ace’ developers in a Japanese convenience store.
In this case, Palworld player DaD_Maiden bred a four-star Direhowl with three speed-related passive skills, making for a super-fast mount. To create Midnight, DaD_Maiden had to breed several eggs to collect the ideal speedy passives, in addition to capturing several other Direhowls to use in a Pal Essense Condenser to max out its Partner Skill at level 5.
The big key to Midnight’s incredible speed was the use of passive skills in Palworld. This speedy Direhowl uses the Lucky passive in addition to three speed-related skills: Swift, Runner, and Nimble, which altogether increase speed by an impressive 60%. To increase the Direhowl’s speed even further, the difficult-to-acquire Legend passive skill could be used to attain an additional 15% increase in movement speed. Beyond this selective and time-consuming breeding process, DaD_Maiden also chose to fully level up their Pal’s Partner Skill in order to maximize speed. Other curious players inquired about whether a Pal’s stars truly increase speed, and so Midnight was put to the test against a Level 1 Direhowl. The player claims that, at least in the case of Direhowl, there is about a 10% increase in speed with a four-star Pal.
Palworld has given its players a lot of freedom to create and explore the possibilities within their catalog of Pals. With millions of players enjoying the game during its early access period, several incredible Pals have been bred, from wildly speedy mounts like Midnight to cute Pals turned into killing machines. Even while still in development, fans are already dedicating hours to exploring all the possibilities Palworld’s open world has to offer, and sales are reaching incredible heights.
