A Palworld player has recently built an amazing base with their boyfriend and shared a video giving a tour of the place. Creating a base in Palworld is one of the most important activities in the game, as players use it to craft new gear, harvest ingredients, and rest.
Palworld has been a huge hit since its early access release last week, selling over 7 million copies in only five days. Since then, Palworld has climbed to the top of the Steam charts, being played by over 2 million simultaneous players on the platform, surpassing even the popular Counter-Strike 2’s record.
Palworld Skips One Central Pokemon Mechanic, But That May Be For the Best
Palworld has borrowed several mechanics from Pokemon, but one in particular that it didn’t could be what sets it up for success in the long run.
Now, a Palworld player called Lightless_meow shared a video of a base they have built together with their boyfriend. In the clip, it’s possible to see the player flying around green mountains and getting near a huge base with stone walls. The base has seven main structures, including a barn, five houses, and a huge stone building. When Lightless_meow drops off from their Pal and starts walking around the base, it’s possible to see creatures working on plantations, a huge dormitory, an assembly line, a massive kitchen, and much more. Overall, the post received a pretty good reception on r/Palworld, achieving over 3,300 upvotes.
While bases are important to get more powerful in Palworld by creating new items, most gamers don’t create huge, detailed ones, especially considering that the bases in Palworld are limited to a certain size. In the comments of the post, Lightless_meow shared the secret to creating such a huge base, which is visibly larger than what is normally allowed in Palworld. When creating the outpost, the crafty couple put several of its structures outside of its official base radius. To accomplish that, they turned off the Structure Decay option in the settings, which made the structures safer.
Palworld’s base-building is probably getting a lot better in the future, though. The Palworld devs have recently unveiled a road map for the game. In it, the developers explained that they intend to improve the base-building mechanics soon, as well as the AI of the Pals, something that most players have been complaining about. Other neat parts of the road map include promises of new islands, more Pals, and even a few new bosses. However, the developers are currently only focused on fixing bugs, as Palworld has been experiencing several issues on both PC and Xbox, including crashes.
