- Palworld players are frustrated with how quickly armor breaks in the game, forcing them to constantly repair it.
- Repairing armor in Palworld requires players to build a Repair Bench and gather the necessary resources.
- The high resource costs for repairing armor in Palworld can be a chore, especially for late-game players.
Some Palworld players have expressed frustration with the rate at which armor breaks in the open world survival game. Palworld is filled with dangerous Pokemon-like creatures called Pals that pose a serious threat to the player. They unleash all kinds of devastating attacks that can knock players out, forcing them to respawn and potentially causing them to lose their items.
Dying in Palworld can be devastating, and so it’s always best that players set out with the right equipment. Palworld players can craft bows, guns, spears, and other weapons to help fight back against any hostile Pals they come across in the game world, and they can also create a variety of armor to increase their odds of survival if they get hit. Unfortunately, Palworld armor is damaged over time, and so players often have to repair it.
Palworld Broke Its Concurrent Player Record Yet Again
Palworld has once again shattered its own concurrent player record on Steam, with millions of players trying out the massively popular new release.
The need to repair armor is expected in a survival game like Palworld, but many players seem to agree that the armor in the game deteriorates too fast. This forces Palworld players to return to their base and repair their armor after only a handful of fights if they fail to dodge the enemy attacks, and it can cost a lot of resources. The better the armor, the more resources it costs to repair it, and so late-game Palworld players especially have found repairing armor to be a chore.
Palworld is an early access game, and so it’s entirely possible that the resource costs for repairing armor will be tweaked in future updates. The developers have many Palworld updates planned for the months ahead that hope to tackle the game’s more egregious technical issues as well as add brand-new features, but it seems entirely possible that some of these updates will also include balance changes. Nothing to that effect has actually been announced so far, though, so Palworld players shouldn’t count on armor repairs getting any cheaper just yet.
How to Repair Armor in Palworld
While the resource-cost can be annoying, the good news is that repairing armor in Palworld is otherwise very straight-forward. All Palworld players need to do is build a Repair Bench, which requires 10 Wood and 10 Stone and can be unlocked from the technology tree as early as level 2. From there, all players need to do is use the Repair Bench and select whatever they want to fix, and as long as they have the necessary resources, it should be no issue. For example, the Cold Resistant Pelt Armor in Palworld requires 5 leather and 2 Ice Organs to repair.
