Palworld has changed quite a bit since its early access launch, gradually growing as an open-world survival-crafting game about catching Pals. The recent release of 1.0, a massive update and change to Palworld, pushed that evolution even further (with tons of new content). Now, another Palworld update is making some of those additions easier to access while giving players more reasons to revisit some of the game’s biggest features.

One of the most interesting parts of Palworld has always been how much freedom it gives players to build their own bases and approach its core gameplay. The latest update continues leaning into that freedom, with some major changes to construction, Jetragon, and several of the systems surrounding the World Tree in Palworld.

Palworld’s New Update: Biggest Changes

The biggest change may be the Aquatic Construction Kit, which is suddenly much easier to unlock. Its technology level requirement has been reduced from 66 to 23, while its Ancient Technology Point cost drops from 4 to 1. The materials and work required to craft it have also been adjusted, meaning players can get access to aquatic building much earlier in their progression (instead of having to wait until the late game).

Jetragon is also getting some attention. Several Jetragon-related technologies now unlock at Level 70 instead of Level 79, while the materials required to craft the Pal Gear needed to ride Jetragon have been reduced. That makes one of Palworld’s best Pals more accessible, especially for players who have been working toward getting their own flying mount.

The update also makes World Tree Holy Water more useful and easier to obtain. Its duration has been extended, its weight has been reduced from 1 to 0.1, and it has been added to rewards from World Tree expeditions, World Tree fishing, and the Large Fishing Pond. Players can also get more of it from Pals in the World Tree area and Teafant Spring. Elsewhere, crude oil production has been improved, the costs of several oil-related machines have been reduced, and the related base mission can now be completed using a High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor.

Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.

There are plenty of smaller fixes accompanying those changes, including improvements to Pal behavior, co-op stability, base building, boss encounters, graphics, and several PS5 and Xbox crashes. Palworld is clearly still being shaped around the way players interact with its massive survival sandbox, and this update makes some of its more interesting systems easier to reach.
