PC users can currently claim Wave Gods: Ammo Night, a co-op zombie shooter released in February 2026, without paying a single penny. Those interested have until the wee hours of March 29 to claim this PC game via developer giveaway on the Epic Games Store.

To be clear, this is not one of Epic Games’ normal weekly free games. The Epic Games Store recently began giving away Electrician Simulator and a free content pack for World of Warships, lasting until the typical time on March 26, but Wave Gods is a developer giveaway. In other words, developer and publisher Vault Games is the one giving this away to PC users on Epic Games Store, not Epic Games itself.

Epic Games Store Officially Reveals Its Free Games for March 26

The Epic Games Store formally announces its March 26 giveaway and introduces two freebies that PC gamers can claim in the meantime.

Usually, these games are a few months old, if not a few years, but Wave Gods is only a little over a month old. It was exclusively released on the Epic Games Store in February 2026, and fans can now claim it for free versus its standard retail price of $11.49. The premise of Wave Gods is pretty simple, yet also a classic in the gaming industry. It describes itself as a survival co-op first-person shooter, where players face down waves of zombies, complete with abandoned, atmospheric maps and customizable characters. Players will have to conserve and leverage ammo appropriately to manage each wave, while they can attempt to do so solo or in multiplayer matches of up to 6 players.

Claim Wave Gods: Ammo Night Until March 29 At No Cost

This limited-time deal is available until March 29 at 3 am PT/6 am ET. Anyone interested should be sure to claim and download the game before then, and since it is a free co-op game for PC players, it might be wise to get a few buddies into it as well. However, it’s worth noting that there are a few reported issues with claiming this game. Namely, for some, the Get button isn’t working appropriately on mobile devices or desktops. If this happens, the simple workaround is to add it to the cart, go to check out, and then it’ll appear in your Epic Games Store library.

For the most part, the game has flown under the radar—it is a simple premise and a small developer/publisher, after all. Discoverability is one of the biggest issues with storefronts like Epic Games Store and Steam, so this may very well be an attempt to get more eyes on the game. But, at the cost of absolutely nothing, it’s hard to ignore. Whether or not it’s good is going to be a matter of preference and how much someone can accept its humble design, but at the very least, shooting zombies with friends can be a solid time.

Claim More Free PC Games This Week

Wave Gods: Ammo Night is not the only free PC game, as of this writing. Epic Games Store users can also claim Electrician Simulator, as well as the anniversary content pack for World of Warships, if they play it a lot. Meanwhile, Steam’s Free to Keep Promotion is currently underway for a sci-fi metroidvania game called Narvas. In it, players explore various planets with a strong 2D art style, taking on assignments aimed at eliminating enemies and dangerous bosses. Similar to Wave Gods, it is a co-op game, but it only allows up to two players to play. As of this writing, Narvas only has a few hours left to claim, with the title expiring on March 25 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.
