A highly dedicated Sims 4 player has recently gone to great lengths to design a detailed in-game recreation of Camp Half-Blood and multiple other locations from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The end result of their building efforts translates some of the series’ most recognizable spaces into fully livable Sims 4 lots.

That kind of creativity has long been part of the appeal of The Sims 4, whose sandbox structure and building tools have encouraged players to make everything from original dream homes to elaborate recreations of settings from other games, movies, books, and TV shows. The game’s Gallery and Build Mode, in particular, have made it easy for players to design, save, share, and place custom lots, helping fan creations become one of the game’s most visible community traditions.

Sims 4 Gender Reveal Goes Off the Rails

A Sims 4 player shares the hilariously unexpected chaos that unfolded during their carefully planned in-game gender reveal party.

Crafty Fan Reimagines Camp Half-Blood as a Sims 4 Neighborhood

In the latest example of that trend, Reddit user ImaginMatrix shared a custom Sims 4 neighborhood build based on Percy Jackson locations, saying they had been recreating key places from the series and were particularly proud of their Camp Half-Blood cabins. The fan said this build was one of their first major projects after returning to the game in 2025, and explained that they aimed to reflect the different gods through distinct architectural styles while still tying the neighborhood together with a Greek-inspired look.

The shared images most clearly show ImaginMatrix’s approach in the overall layout, which arranges multiple cabins around a central communal space and gives the area the look of a themed coastal district rather than a row of identical lots. The central archway and fountain help establish the Camp Half-Blood identity immediately, while the broader overhead views suggest the creator was trying to capture the camp as a cohesive setting rather than a collection of instantly recognizable yet isolated references.

A significant part of the appeal of ImaginMatrix’s creation comes from how differently the cabins are interpreted through furnishing. One darker build leans into gothic detailing, skeletal decorations, and dim interiors, while others adopt softer palettes, garden-heavy exteriors, workshop spaces, or even stately classical facades. That variety helps sell the idea that every cabin belongs to a different divine lineage, which fits the Percy Jackson source material and gives each Sims 4 lot a distinct visual function even when viewed side by side.

ImaginMatrix’s Percy Jackson-Inspired Build Is Fully Functional

The creator also said they intentionally designed each cabin to function as a complete home, with kitchens and bathrooms, rather than filling the interiors solely with rows of beds. That detail underlines how the project was conceived not just as a showcase build, but also as something perfectly usable in regular Sims 4 gameplay, making the end result that much more impressive. The interiors reinforce that balance between homage and playability: some rooms emphasize personality through color, clutter, posters, and themed bedrooms, while others use cleaner or more ornate layouts to suggest specific moods tied to each cabin’s identity.

Reflecting on their achievement, ImaginMatrix said the project drew on a mix of childhood imagination, fan and official art, and the Disney+ Percy Jackson TV adaptation. They added that they had already been creating other related lots, including Pegasus stables, training grounds, and the Big House. The player also expressed interest in turning the build into a custom venue to simulate everyday life at their digital version of Camp Half-Blood. To that end, they have already bought Adventure Awaits, a recently released Sims 4 expansion pack that allows them to do exactly that.
