- Trance Twins Weakness in Persona 3 Reload
Many enemies within Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload have unknown weaknesses and affinities, making it difficult to know what strategy to use against them and team members to bring along. Even enemies that aren’t a boss can still be tough to beat if you don’t know what to use against them.
The Trance Twins are an enemy you can find early on in Tartarus, within the Thebel Block. Though they might seem unassuming at first, they are hard to take down without the right Persona or S.E.E.S team member. Here are some strategies you can use to beat these enemies with ease.

Two new enemy types will attack you when you’re doing the first Full Moon Operation to defeat the Priestess in Persona 3 Reload.
Where to Find Trance Twins in Persona 3 Reload
To find the Trance Twins in Tartarus, you’ll want to visit the Thebel Block in Tartarus. This includes Floors 1 to 21. In our search, we were able to find one on Floor 20, but they will appear at random.
They can sometimes come paired with other enemies as well, such as the Obsessed Cupid and Magic Hand. These enemies will have their own weaknesses that you’ll want to exploit. You’ll also want to remember to sneak up behind the enemies found in Tartarus to gain an advantage at the beginning of the battle.

Trance Twins Weakness in Persona 3 Reload
When you come across the Trance Twins in the Thebel Block, these will be their resistances and weaknesses:
- Weak: Electric and Light
- Resist: Ice
- All other attacks: Neutral
With the Trance Twins, it’s a good idea to focus on using Electric and Light attacks. If you’re still towards the beginning of the game and have not unlocked Akihiko Sanada, you’ll want to get your hands on some Personas in the Thebel Block that have these abilities. This includes:
- Omoikane (Fuse Orpheus and Nekomata)
- Pixie (Fuse Silky and Tam Lin)
Omoikane will be your best bet, since it will be the easiest to fuse. Orpheus is a Persona you’ll get at the beginning of the game, and Nekomata can be fused together using Orpheus and Apsaras, who can be found through Shuffle Time on the Thebel Block. Omoikane should come with the Zio skill, which will deal weak Electric Damage to a single target.
If you already have Akihiko Sanada on your team, his Persona will have a bunch of Electric attacks as well. He can be useful to bring along. However, he won’t join the team until 5/23. If you don’t have access to him or any of the previously mentioned Personas, your best bet is to use any of the other Elements besides Ice or use Physical attacks to take the enemy down. Junpei can be a great character to use to deal heavy damage.
