A new report has revealed that a live-action adaptation of Persona is in development at Netflix. Franchise creator ATLUS has recently confirmed its next entry in the mainline Persona games and is also preparing for the launch of Persona 4 Revival.

Persona Is Getting a Live-Action TV Show on Netflix
According to Variety, Netflix is working on a live-action TV adaptation of the Persona series. Per the report, Christopher Monfette has been chosen as writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the project. Shawn Levy and Robert Artwood of 21 Laps, the studio behind Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things, will also oversee production. Also executive producing are Story Kitchen’s Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson. Finally, SEGA’s own Toru Nakahara, who produced the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action films, will executive produce as well. It remains unknown whether the potential TV adaptation would be based on a particular mainline Persona title or if it would be a new story altogether.
