It’s that time of the month once again, as PlayStation has revealed the April lineup of games coming to the Game Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. All of these games will be available to play starting April 21:

  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (PS5, PS4)
  • The Crew Motorfest (PS5, PS4)
  • Football Manager 26 Console (PS5)
  • Warriors Abyss (PS5, PS4)
  • Squirrel With a Gun (PS5)
  • The Casting of Frank Stone (PS5)
  • Monster Train (PS5)
  • Wild Arms 4 (PS5, PS4) | PS Plus Premium required

This month has several high-profile releases, starting with Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. The first entry in the series from developer Guerrilla Games, this version of the open-world adventure is a massive technical upgrade that brings it on par with its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. One thing to note is that PS5 owners will get the remastered edition, while PS4 owners can download the Complete Edition.

While Forza Horizon 6 won’t be coming to PS5 on launch day next month, The Crew Motorfest is a decent alternative. Set in Hawaii, Honolulu, the game features hundreds of fast cars and plenty of events to race them in. Football Manager 26 will let you savor the glory of running your dream soccer team, while Koei Tecmo’s action roguelite, Warriors: Abyss, features over 100 heroes to choose from and endless hordes of monsters to battle.

For something more absurd, Squirrel With a Gun does exactly what it says on the can, as you’ll play as a gun-toting rodent seeking to escape a secret underground facility using any violent means necessary.

Ahead of the release of Directive 8020 next month, you can also check out The Casting of Frank Stone. Set in the Dead by Daylight universe and featuring Supermassive’s signature storytelling, the game follows a group of young friends as they discover the origins of a gruesome urban legend.

Roguelike deckbuilding is very popular lately, and to get a taste of what makes them special, hop on board Monster Train this month. A tactical spin on the genre that tasks you with managing three battlegrounds, it’s a challenging test of your skills.

Finally, the PlayStation Classics section of the Game Catalog expands this month with Wild Arms 4. Originally released for PS2 in 2005, the JRPG has been enhanced with several quality-of-life features and custom video filters.

Don’t forget, all PS Plus members can claim three freebies–Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream–but you only have until May 4 to do so.
