Pokemon GO players can expect the debut of a new GO Pass in November, and players will have the chance to obtain a lot of PokeCoins throughout the month. The GO Pass is Pokemon GO‘s progression-based reward system, which allows players to unlock lots of different bonuses as they play during a specific window. Players automatically earn rewards when the new GO Pass goes live, but there’s also the GO Pass Deluxe which offers extra incentives for those that pay to unlock it.
Pokemon GO still has more events in October, even as the game’s developers have started to lay out their plans for the month of November. The rest of October will focus on activities related to Halloween, which means new and returning costumed Pokemon will be available. The game is also putting a big focus on Ghost-types, with the debut of Mega Chandelure on Halloween day.

The next GO Pass will make its debut in Pokemon GO on Tuesday, November 3 at 10 AM local time. That means players still have plenty of time to finish the October GO Pass, but developer Scopely Explore has revealed some of the rewards players can expect to see when the new one goes live. PokeCoins can be a hassle to obtain in Pokemon GO, but players will be able to unlock a bunch through the November GO Pass. The standard tier will have 400 PokeCoins to unlock, but players that purchase the GO Pass Deluxe will be able to get 1,000 more, for a total of 1,400.

Over the last few months, GO Pass rewards have focused on Legendary Pokemon from Hoenn. After offering Latias, Latios, and Kyogre encounters, Groudon will take the spotlight as the final reward for those that complete the November GO Pass before it comes to an end. Lucky players may also encounter the Shiny version of Groudon, which has a light green coloration. Other rewards in November include Stardust, Rare Candy XL, a Lucky Egg, and more. The GO Pass Deluxe will also include special encounters and a Super Incubator.
November’s GO Pass Deluxe will cost $7.99. Since 100 PokeCoins is roughly the equivalent of $1, players can basically earn more than what they spent if they earn all 1,000 PokeCoins in the GO Pass Deluxe. PokeCoins cannot be used to purchase the GO Pass Deluxe, but players that were already planning to spend money to refill their in-game wallet might want to consider buying the GO Pass Deluxe in November, instead. Those PokeCoins can then be used on other valuable things in Pokemon GO, such as Remote Raid passes, avatar items, and additional storage space for items or Pokemon.
The November GO Pass will conclude on Tuesday, December 1 at 10 AM local time. That date coincides with the ending of Pokemon GO‘s Twilight Trails season. Scopely Explore has not revealed any details about the next theme, but the developers will likely offer information somewhere during the month of November.
