Pokemon GO has confirmed the dates for its next season’s Community Day events. Players can look forward to three specific days when certain Pokemon will spawn more frequently in the wild. Pokemon GO’s current season is set to end on June 2, but there are still some major events taking place in the coming weeks.
Monthly Community Days are some of Pokemon GO’s most popular recurrent events. Not only because they can sometimes help fans evolve otherwise rare Pokemon, but because they often feature exciting bonuses and exclusive Attacks. These events are also useful to stock up on Candy and shiny Pokemon, as shiny rates tend to increase. Pokemon GO’s May 2026 Community Day will feature Lechonk, but the game is already looking ahead to June, July, and August editions.

Pokemon GO has revealed that its next season’s Community Days will take place on June 20, July 4, and August 15. The game has not detailed which Pokemon will star in these events yet, but fans can expect updates from the development team in the following months. It is worth noting that, unlike with Pokemon GO‘s Memories in Motion season, the next era will not feature a Community Day Classic event.
Aside from Community Days, Pokemon GO has also confirmed several in-game events scheduled for the next three months. On June 27 and August 22, the game will host Raid Days, allowing players to battle powerful Pokemon. A Hatch Day is set for August 8, so fans can look forward to Egg-hatching bonuses on this date. In addition, an unknown event is scheduled for July 18. Pokemon GO has not disclosed the event’s name or focus, but the game will likely share more information in the weeks leading up to it. In the meantime, fans can look forward to Pokemon GO‘s May 2026 Raid Day schedule, which includes a Shadow Entei event.
Community Days frequently have fan-favorite Pokemon as protagonists. But sometimes the chosen pocket monster causes controversy within the community. In April 2025, many Pokemon GO players were displeased with Vanillite’s Community Day, since it isn’t necessarily a popular or strong Pokemon. Similarly, with Lechonk’s upcoming event, some fans pointed out how it’s not a rare specimen in the wild. It remains to be seen which Pokemon could star in the next three Community Days. Interestingly enough, Sobble is the only starter Pokemon that has yet to be featured in these events. There’s a chance that next season could put the Water starter under the spotlight.

There are still plenty of exciting events coming up for the last weeks of Memories in Motion. On April 28, Orthworm is making its Pokemon GO debut in 3-Star Raids until May 4. Its shiny counterpart will also be released during the Steeled Resolve event. Later on, from May 12 to May 18, a Spring Marathon event will feature Flittle and Espathra’s in-game launch, along with a new costumed Pikachu. On the other hand, fans should stay tuned in May for more updates on Pokemon GO‘s next season, which coincides with the highly anticipated GO Fest 2026.
