A Pokemon Legends: Z-A fan has recreated a number of popular characters from the cast withinTomodachi Life: Living the Dream. While it’s not the first time that fans have mashed Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream together since the latter’s launch, this player has done an impressive job recreating the cast.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, like its predecessor, provides a wide range of character customization options for its Miis. For a creative fan, the sky is the limit for who they recreate in the game, with one fan even making Pokemon in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, without using face paint. Though the game hasn’t been out for long at all, players have been diving in and sharing their impressive creations.
As a Pokemon Fan, We Almost Got My Dream Stardew Valley-Like
Stardew Valley and Pokemon are two games that I always come back to, and I’m mourning the loss of the ideal combo of these games that could have been.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Characters Recreated in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
A fan of both Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Tomodachi Life has shared their efforts in recreating a number of members of the cast of the Pokemon game within the social simulator. The player shared a number of screenshots demonstrating their handy work, which has been done well enough that fans have quickly identified them and shared how impressed they are. To name just a few, the creator included characters like Urbain and Taunie, Lida, Naveen, AZ, and L. The OP also included a recreation of their own custom trainer from Pokemon Legends: Z-A, adding a nice personalized touch.
While it’s arguably the end of an era for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the game is still relatively recent, having come out in October 2025. However, the game has largely been overshadowed in recent times when standing next to other Nintendo titles. Aside from Tomodachi Life, Pokemon Pokopia released in March 2026, and players are still eagerly exploring every corner of the world. Fans have been hard at work recreating some of their favorite places and structures from the franchise and elsewhere within Pokopia, so Nintendo gamers have had plenty of opportunities to celebrate their favorites in recent times.
Looking for the future of the franchise and Nintendo’s planned series, a recent trend has been noticed. Nintendo has released and will continue releasing a number of games based on island living. While Animal Crossing: New Horizons was one of the biggest instances of this, the theme has been particularly prevalent lately with the releases of Pokemon Pokopia and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Splatoon Raiders, the upcoming third-person shooter spin-off of the main franchise, will continue the trend. And while it’s still a ways off, the next mainline entry of the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Winds and Waves, will also follow the theme, featuring numerous islands for players to explore and find Pokemon on.
