Three decades is a heck of a long time for any video game franchise to be around, but when it comes to Pokemon, that series of pocket monster video games has been a multi-generational blockbuster. So what’s next for Pokemon? That’s something we’re hoping to discover in today’s Pokemon Presents livestream.
How to watch Pokemon Presents
As always, you can catch the Pokemon Presents livestream through the official Nintendo YouTube channel.

Pokemon Presents start time
The Pokemon Presents livestream will kick off on February 27 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET.

- 11 PM JST
What to expect
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are staying tight-lipped as usual, with the announcement post mentioning that the livestream will celebrate 30 years of Pokemon. That’s a landmark milestone, and the expectation is that the show will be headlined by the reveal of the next mainline Pokemon games alongside a re-release of the GBA classics, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen.
If previous presentations are an indicator of what you can expect, then it’s likely that there’ll be updates for current live-service games like Pokemon Go, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, Pokemon Unite, and Pokemon Masters EX, as well as a closer look at other projects like Pokemon TV series and the Pokemon theme park in Tokyo.
