Pokemon TCG Live officially shared a brand-new distribution code for the digital TCG through its social media channels. Players can use the code PERFECTORDER26 to obtain four free packs of Perfect Order in Pokemon TCG Live, limited to one redemption per account. The digital TCG is also giving fans the chance to pick up a plethora of free decks for the new format, offering eight Pokemon TCG Live starter decks to commemorate the set’s debut. Pokemon TCG fans can redeem the free Perfect Order packs until May 22 at 10:00 A.M. PDT.
The free Perfect Order packs should give fans a head start on building decks for the Pokemon TCG‘s post-rotation format. Pokemon TCG Live officially introduced its newest rotation with the launch of Perfect Order, removing G-regulation cards from the Standard format. The rotation notably sees several powerful Trainer cards leaving the format, with Supporter cards like Iono, Arven, and Professor’s Research no longer playable in the Standard format. Several popular decks were also removed from the Pokemon TCG‘s Standard format with the new rotation, including Gardevoir ex and Gholdengo ex.
Alongside its plethora of individually powerful cards, Perfect Order features some brand-new strategies for players to try out. Mega Clefable ex is already making waves as a popular Psychic-type deck to replace Gardevoir, rewarding players for hoarding Psychic Energy cards in their hand. Decidueye ex is seeing play as a deck heavily focused on disrupting an opponent’s plays, aiming to manipulate an opponent’s hand size in order to deal significant damage. The Pokemon TCG is also expected to see some big changes throughout the rest of the year, with the franchise celebrating a major milestone.
