Pokemon TCG showcases new Eeveelution designs to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary. Pokemon TCG is a major talking point within the franchise at the moment. The trading card game was revealed to be heavily tied to the first new Pokemon movie in seven years, called Wild Card; then, it’s about to get a 30th anniversary set; and finally, it’s the unfortunate target of scalping. With even more on the horizon, such as the debut of Pokemon Winds and Waves in 2027, Pokemon TCG will keep on growing in popularity and player numbers.

As the game grows, however, so can the issues with scalping. Recently, fans saw their Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration orders canceled by Pokemon Center, and it’s unclear whether some regular collectors were caught in the crossfire of punishing bot accounts or whether the set was oversold due to scalpers. Either way, it’s affecting the hobby in many ways, and it has become a massive problem that may not be easily solved in the near future, if at all. Now, fans of the official trading card game can take a look at new designs for Eeveelutions.

New Pokemon TCG Eevee and Eeveelution Figurines Appear Online

A brand-new line of Pokemon TCG figurines tied to Eevee and the Eeveelutions surfaced online, as seen on PokeBeach, and they include designs faithful to their respective cards in terms of pose, size, and lighting. These collectibles currently don’t have a release date or price, but fans are already mourning their availability, stating that they will inevitably be scalped and made nearly impossible to purchase. With a super rare Pokemon TCG card sold for over $1 million and scalpers targeting new releases with bulk purchases from multiple accounts, this is not exactly a pessimistic prediction, either. After all, the Eevee-dedicated set, called Prismatic Evolutions, ended up being one of the hardest to find in the game’s history and sold for eye-watering prices on third-party websites.

The figurines are dedicated to Eevee and each of its eight Eeveelutions, plus an additional Eevee figurine that will be much rarer than the rest, as they will presumably be sold in mystery boxes with one figurine and a card stand each. The rare Eevee version is based on the Illustration Rare version of the Pokemon, and it seemingly has a 1 in 80 chance of being pulled out of the box. Each box will come with a reverse holo version of its respective Eeveelution, as well as one Terastal Festival booster pack. These contain cards from the English set that became Prismatic Evolutions, including Pokemon TCG‘s most valuable Prismatic Evolution pulls, such as Tera Umbreon Ex and the other SIRs.

Recently, Pokemon TCG announced a new card type called ex Star cards, and they will be available in a future set, debuting with Mega Lucario Z ex. This was revealed at the closing ceremony at Pokemon World Championships 2026, and it’s likely to get a longer trailer or showcase in the coming weeks.

As for product availability, Nintendo released an official statement about the issue, and major Pokemon TCG retailers are taking action against scalping, such as removing protective plastic from some boxes or cutting the corners of booster packs. Whether this will be an effective countermeasure remains to be seen.
