Pokemon TCG Pocket: Complete Card Rarity Guide

Pokemon TCG Pocket’s card rarities are not the same as original Pokemon TCG cards, so you might need some explanations—we’ve got you covered.

Pokemon TCG Pocket’s February 2026 Wonder Pick Event Adds Two New Cards

Pokemon TCG Pocket has added new cards for Cinderace and Alolan Vuplix as a part of its February 2026 Wonder Pick event. As with previous Wonder Pick events, the two new cards can be nabbed via special Chansey Picks that do not cost players the typical currency of hourglasses, though they also appear in standard Wonder Picks that require the use of said hourglasses. The event is one of many on Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s extensive road map, which details the game’s upcoming new Wonder Picks, battle events, and new booster packs.

Cinderace’s new card features artwork of the Pokemon with its foot perched atop a flaming ball. The card features only one attack move, Fireball Shot, which requires Cinderace to be equipped with two Fire energies to use. The move will hit the opponent’s active Pokemon for 120 damage while also preventing them from attacking during their next turn. The card also comes with no retreat cost, allowing it to be swapped out at any time. Both Cinderace’s attack and its retreat cost are identical to the version of the Pokemon that appears in Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Fantastical Parade expansion, the most recent booster pack released for the game, though the Wonder Pick version of the card features brand-new artwork and a Chansey sticker that denotes its exclusivity.

Like Cinderace, the Wonder Pick version of Alolan Vulpix has the same attack as other versions of the Pokemon, with Gnaw requiring one Water energy to use and hitting the opposing active Pokemon for 20 hit points. Alolan Vulpix also shares its retreat cost of a single energy point with its Fantastical Parade counterpart, though this version of Alolan Vulpix features the Pokemon stepping atop a colorful, fractured glacier and facing toward the player. Fans of these two unique-looking cards will have until February 25 to acquire them before the Wonder Pick event ends.

While developer DeNA has acknowledged that Pokemon TCG Pocket has had a difficult time retaining players, the game has seen no shortage of new content added since launch. On top of the regular release of booster packs and events, the mobile title has just kicked off the latest season of its ranked battles, giving players a chance to compete with one another and climb up the leaderboards. With Pokemon‘s massive popularity across the world, there are plenty of players willing to check in every day in the hope of collecting their favorites in card form.
