In 2027, the competition will return to Asia for the first time in years, and this time will be held in Singapore. The event will be held from August 13–15, 2027. The last time the event was held in Asia was back in 2023, when the Pokemon World Championships were held in Japan. It was previously teased that the Pokemon World Championship would leave the United States after having been held there for several years.
