Life-sim gaming fans are certainly no strangers to flexing their creative muscles to show off some truly incredible builds, and the Pokemon Pokopia community has been giving longtime Sims and Minecraft players a run for their money in the custom design department. One such example is a heart-stopping rollercoaster build developed entirely from scratch by a Pokemon Pokopia player, which not only showcases the immersive environments of the game but also fully displays the extent of what is possible to build thanks to Pokopia‘s customization tools.
The gameplay features in Pokemon Pokopia allow users to play the game at their own pace, whether that be focusing on building habitats to draw in specific Pokemon, exploring the lands, completing tasks, or simply vibing with the relaxing music and cute visuals. While the game has quickly drawn in audiences wanting a more casual Pokemon experience, it has also caught the attention of life-sim players who have put the game’s mechanics to the test to see just how creative fans can be, and the results are undeniably impressive.

Rollercoaster Build in Pokemon Pokopia
Reddit user CrimsonHolmes shared a video showcasing their custom-built rollercoaster in Pokemon Pokopia. The build features mine carts following a track, much in the same style as many wooden rollercoasters, though without any safety bars, shoulder restraints, or even complete ride vehicles. Instead, the riders are expected to simply stand and hold on for dear life, which may not be any issue for Flying Type Pokemon but could prove fatal for all others. Amusignly, CrimsonHolmes highlighted the absolute lack of safety features on the attraction, joking that the Safety Standards Department “is still under construction,” but that has not stopped CrimsonHolmes from using some of the Pokemon in Pokopia as test riders for the new rollercoaster.

The Pokopia rollercoaster begins with a gigantic lift hill, slowly carrying the death-defying riders to an incredible height before a top hat stall that lets the participants soak in the views before plummeting them to the waters below. After a face-ripping descent, the riders are whipped around nauseating track turns before flying under a head-chopper bridge and quickly sent back up a couple brief lift hills to see a double canon fireworks display. The coaster ends with a soaking wet finale, as the riders are sent straight through a waterfall before returning to the load station, thankfully with all limbs seemingly still attached. Fellow community members were amazed by the Pokopia rollercoaster, whether for its entertainment value or out of sheer shock for the lackadaisical disregard for rider safety, but it certainly stands out from the more cozy builds in Pokemon Pokopia.
From designing completely original builds to drawing inspiration from real-world architecture and recreating pop-culture locations in Pokemon Pokopia, players have continued to find new ways to enjoy everything that the game’s customization tools have to offer.
