As of this writing, Sony has confirmed a total of 12 games coming to PlayStation Plus‘ monthly game line-up between now and the end of the year. Unfortunately, three of the games have yet to receive solid release windows on PS Plus (outside 2026), but time is dwindling, so fans can expect these announcements in the near future.
The bulk of these new PS Plus additions are the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for September 2026, which include 7 more PS Plus Extra games and 2 more PS Plus Premium games. These will follow shortly after Date Everything was added as a PS Plus game, so while it’s not the most detailed lineup for the rest of the year, it still gives fans plenty to look forward to.
PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for September 2026
The PS Plus Extra games for September 2026, with their specific release dates below, are RuneScape: Dragonwilds, WWE 2K26, Ball X Pit, Slitterhead, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. The PS Plus Premium reps this month are Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an open-world survival-crafting game set in the long-standing titular universe, WWE 2K26 is a wrestling simulation game, and Ball X Pit is a roguelike focused on bouncing-ball combat with a ton of other features. There’s certainly variety in this selection, as represented by those PS Plus Extra games. They are joined by the horror action game Slitterhead (which focuses on possession), 2D action-platformer Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (a throwback to classics), and colorful action RPG Dungeons of Hinterberg. Meanwhile, Sniper Elite: Resistance says it all in the title (and it’s set in World War 2).

PS Plus Extra and Premium Games Beyond September 2026
During the June State of Play, the company announced a handful of PS Plus games and when they would be added. Sony repeated this tactic with the most recent State of Play, yet only confirmed Mega Man X Command Mission for September. The remaining three games (1 PS Plus Extra/2 PS Plus Premium) are all slated to arrive on this service sometime this year, although when has not been specified. They include Mycopunk on PS Plus Extra, as well as the original Ratchet and Clank and Dino Crisis 2 on PS Plus Premium.

Mycopunk is making its console debut on PS Plus Extra, not unlike RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and it’s a fast-paced co-op first-person shooter in a sci-fi world. Dino Crisis 2 is a classic game from Capcom, a survival-action title where players must survive dinosaurs, and Ratchet & Clank is a classic PS2 game that really needs no introduction: players take on the role of Ratchet and Clank & complete action-platformer gameplay across planets.
