Sony has pulled back the curtain on the upcoming list of PS Plus free games, aka the Essential tier, and it includes four total games at no additional cost. PS Plus typically only gives away three games on the Essential tier, but February and March have come with an additional game.

These new PS Plus games will be available beginning on March 3 and last until April 6, and subscribers have until March 2 to claim the PS Plus free games for February 2026 and add them to their game library. Those titles included Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, Ultros, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Replacing them is a similar array of games, headlined once again by a sports game.

As previously leaked by Billbil-kun, PGA Tour 2K25 is the headlining game receiving the premier top spot in marketing. PGA Tour 2K25 is similar to other 2K Sports games, where players can play through the PGA championship, rise through the ranks in MyCareer, enjoy ranked and casual cross-platform multiplayer, and otherwise create their perfect Golf players and courses with strong customization features, upgraded Skill Trees, and advanced course customization tools.

PS Plus Free Games (Essential) List for March 2026

  • PGA Tour 2K25 | PS5
  • Monster Hunter Rise | PS5, PS4
  • Slime Rancher 2 | PS5
  • The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road | PS5, PS4

Joining it are Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road, with the former joining after PS Plus Extra recently added the two Monster Hunter Stories games. These are all likely in preparation for the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Stories 3 in March. Monster Hunter Rise is a new story inspired by ancient Japanese folklore. The classic Monster Hunter gameplay loop, where successful hunts yield materials for crafting and upgrading gear, remains, and if fans haven’t checked it out yet, there’s hardly a better time. Slime Rancher 2 takes protagonist Beatrix LeBeau to Rainbow Island as she builds a unique Slime farm within a beautiful conservatory.

The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road gives players instant access to all major Chapter Zones, biomes, and quest arcs across its various locations, from Morrowind to Skyrim. This MMO is incredibly popular, and this makes a solid additional game to come to the service. Each of these PS Plus games is available on PS5 consoles, though ESO Collection: Gold Road and Monster Hunter Rise are the only ones available for the PS4 console.

March 3 and Beyond for PS Plus

PS Plus Essential (and higher) subscribers will be able to access these games beginning on March 3. There’s a nice variety, hopefully meaning there’s a little something for everyone, but fans also know that PS Plus will add more games to the Extra tier in March. Right now, Sony has yet to comment on those games, but its typical structure means fans know when to expect them.

PS Plus subscribers will be able to claim the aforementioned games on March 3, before the PS Plus Extra games are announced around March 11 and added to the service around March 17. Recent months have proven that PS Plus Extra is the best tier offered by Sony, consistently adding a higher quality and quantity of games than PS Plus Essential or Premium. Already, too, the company has confirmed that PS Plus Premium will be getting Tekken: Dark Resurrection (PSP) in March, so that’s one confirmation fans can expect on March 11. The others are entirely up in the air.
