Members in the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus will lose access to 10 games in February 2024. PS Plus Extra subscribers can play a number of different games as a part of their subscription service, with Premium users getting some additional benefits on top.
Sony regularly updates the catalog of titles available to PS Plus Extra and Premium members, as new games are added to the collection every month. The PlayStation Plus Extra lineup for January 2024 was revealed earlier this month, confirming that Resident Evil 2, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition, LEGO City Undercover, and more will be coming to the service. Premium subscribers will also get access to Rally Cross, Legend of Mana, and Secret of Mana, among others. A number of titles leave PS Plus every month as well, and fans now have more information on the games that are set to leave in February 2024.
Why February 28 Could Be an Absolutely Huge Day for PS Plus
While Sony’s PS Plus service has kicked off the year with a bang, the real explosion may not come until the end of February and into March.
Sony has updated a section called “Last chance to play” on the PlayStation Store, confirming the list of titles that will be leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in February 2024. As revealed by PlayStation Game Size, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Hue, Thomas Was Alone, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Tacoma, Tekken 7, Oninaki, Lost Sphear, I am Setsuna, and Lost Words: Beyond the Page will leave the higher tiers of PS Plus next month.
PS Plus Games Leaving February 2024
- Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
- I am Setsuna
- Lost Sphear
- Lost Words: Beyond the Page
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- Tekken 7
- Thomas Was Alone
It should be noted that members will no longer have access to these games once they have been removed from the PS Plus catalog. This functionality differs from the free games available to all PS Plus subscribers, as users retain access to the monthly titles until their membership expires. Regardless, it looks like these games will be removed on February 20, so fans have around a month to play them.
It appears that this list includes some noteworthy titles, with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Tekken 7, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown being among the biggest games to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium next month. Fans of the Resident Evil series do get to play Resident Evil 2 though, and it’ll be interesting to see if newer releases in this franchise make their way to PS Plus in the future.
Subscribers should note that a free PlayStation Plus game for next month has already been revealed, as Foamstars will be joining the lineup on February 6, 2024. Gamers will have until March 4 to add Foamstars to their accounts, after which it will be available for $29.99.
