PS Plus Subscribers Have to Say Goodbye to 9 Games in February 2026

PS Plus Subscribers Have to Say Goodbye to 9 Games in February 2026

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be losing access to nine games in February 2026. Every month, a new batch of games is added to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus. That’s cause for celebration for sure, but the same day that new games are added, a selection of titles are also booted off the service.

The latest update saw PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers gain access to games like Resident Evil Village and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, but they also had to say goodbye to titles like Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Sayonara Wild Hearts. We have no idea what new games will be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium in next month’s update (presumably taking place on February 17), but we do know what games are on the chopping block in February 2026.

Every Monthly Game Added To PS Plus

New monthly PlayStation Plus games! Sony is always adding goodies to its subscription service. The January 2026 Extra games have been revealed.

Come February 17, PS Plus subscribers will be losing access to Carto, Cult of the Lamb, New World: Aeternum, Rez Infinite, SaGa Frontier Remastered, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, Super Neptunia RPG, The Ascent, and WWE 2K25. Notably, New World: Aeternum has already been delisted ahead of its servers shutting down on January 31, 2027, so if you didn’t already have it downloaded, you’ve already missed the boat on that particular game.

List of Games Leaving PS Plus in February 2026

  • Carto
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • New World: Aeternum
  • Rez Infinite
  • SaGa Frontier Remastered
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition
  • Super Neptunia RPG
  • The Ascent
  • WWE 2K25

Unfortunately, some of the games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in 2026 are rather notable titles. Cult of the Lamb is a dark, demented roguelike twist on something like Animal Crossing that won multiple awards and earned critical acclaim at the time of its original release in 2022. Rez Infinite is the latest version of the PS2 classic rail shooter game, complete with virtual reality support. Its departure means yet another VR title is being purged from the PS Plus lineup.

PS Plus subscribers may also be sad to see WWE 2K25 removed from the service. The latest installment in the long-running wrestling game franchise, WWE 2K25 earned mostly positive reviews, with many hailing it as one of the best entries the series has seen in years, despite the controversial Island mode. It was recently confirmed by 2K that WWE 2K25‘s servers will be shut down in March of next year, so fans of the game should keep that in mind. Regardless, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers only have until February 17 to play the game.

The Ascent leaving PS Plus may also sting for some players. The Ascent had more mixed reviews compared to some of the other games leaving PS Plus in February 2026, but it certainly has its fans. The Ascent is one of the local co-op games on PS Plus, so it leaving the service means subscribers will have one last option in that arena.

While it’s sad to see these games removed from the PS Plus lineup, the good news is that the same day they are getting the boot, new games will make their debut. The most likely day that the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for February 2026 will be announced is Wednesday, February 11, so subscribers should mark their calendars accordingly.
