PureArts has unveiled a new Elden Ring collectible in the form of a life-sized replica of Malenia’s prosthetic arm. Its officially licensed piece of Elden Ring merch is now available to pre-order in limited quantities, and will start shipping to buyers in late 2024.

Founded in 2008, PureArts is a Montreal, Canada-based manufacturer of premium figurines. It mostly specializes in making licensed merch inspired by popular video game and movie franchises. The company’s past works include an incredibly detailed statue of Eivor from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, as well as various dioramas and miniatures inspired by The Witcher 3, The Lord of the Rings, Cyberpunk 2077, and Batman, among other popular properties.

PureArts’ latest offering arrives in the form of a collectible inspired by Elden Ring’s statistically hardest boss, Malenia: a life-sized replica of Blade of Miquella’s right arm. The prosthesis is made of polyresin and boasts the typical attention to detail that the company’s collectibles are known for. As per usual, that quality doesn’t come cheap, as the replica is set to retail at $389. Pre-orders are now open via the PureArts website, with the entire series being limited to 3,500 units.

PureArts estimates that its new collectible will start being delivered to customers in December 2024. Aside from the replica of Malenia’s signature arm prosthesis, the package also ships with a metal base and wall mounts, thus supporting two distinct display options out of the box. The hand’s wrist is articulated, further extending the number of possible display configurations. While PureArts did not elaborate on this feature, its official promotional materials suggest that the wrist can at the very least be moved along the horizontal axis.

This premium replica of Malenia’s arm marks PureArts’ first official piece of Elden Ring merch. But the product itself is far from the company’s first collaboration with the Elden Ring publisher, as PureArts has produced figurines based on many hit Bandai Namco games over the years, including Soulcalibur and Tekken titles. The manufacturer is also no stranger to FromSoftware IPs, having previously created figurines based on Yhorm and Pontiff Sulyvahn from Dark Souls 3. While the former has long been sold out, the latter can still be ordered from PureArts, perhaps because it starts at a fairly cost-prohibitive price point of $899.

With Elden Ring being by far the most successful game FromSoftware has ever made, boasting over 23 million sales as of February 2024, this upcoming piece of merch may end up being sold out before long. PureArts did not clarify whether it would entertain the idea of a second run should the first edition prove popular enough.
