A recent Reddit video posted by Kindly_Budget_6462 shows the unfortunate Red Dead Redemption 2 player unexpectedly getting stabbed to death by a police officer in broad daylight. Notably, the attacking NPC makes a menacing run towards the protagonist before gutting him in the chest. This behavior deviates from the common modus operandi of the in-game police. When the men in uniform have really had enough of a miscreant, they mostly resort to shooting instead of doing things the old-fashioned way with a blade. Interestingly, the stabbing animation shows a glitch where the officer’s free hand goes right through Arthur’s back. While the post’s author didn’t have an explanation of how this reaction from the officer was produced, they revealed experimenting with Red Dead Redemption 2 cheat codes during that gaming session.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Player Falls Prey to a Lawman’s Surprise Move
As expected, several Reddit users expressed being amused at this unique incident with the lawman. One of them commented, “I may be out of ammo but not out of options.” Another user also claimed that this kind of thing happens if the player has already disarmed the officer beforehand, leaving him without any guns to use.
