It’s hard to believe, but the Grand Theft Auto 6 release date is right around the corner. Barring any unfortunate last-minute delays, Rockstar Games has locked in the November 19 GTA 6 release date and fans can plan their gaming sessions accordingly.
We are just over a month away from the GTA 6 release date, and so it’s not surprising that information has been coming at a steadier clip from Rockstar Games. The GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix gave fans their best look yet at the gameplay, and since then more details and screenshots have been released by Rockstar. Fans don’t have to wait long at all for the next update on the game, as it’s been confirmed for Monday, October 5.
GTA 6 is on the Cover of the Next Love Magazine
GTA 6 will be featured in the next issue of Love magazine, which will be available starting Monday, October 5. The magazine made the announcement with an Instagram post that showed off some fresh screenshots of the game and revealed more details about what fans can expect, particularly when it comes to the dynamic between Jason and Lucia. The screenshots show Jason and Lucia sitting in a restaurant and hanging out in a backyard. They also show a rear-view of a blue car cruising the streets of GTA 6‘s open world. The new GTA 6 screenshots don’t reveal anything big about the game, but it’s still nice to get another look regardless.
According to what Rockstar Games told Love magazine, Jason and Lucia are “vulnerable, tough, flawed,” which should go a long way in making them feel like real, well-rounded characters with depth. Rockstar has a long history of crafting compelling characters, and Jason and Lucia should be no different. The characters are described by Rockstar as “perfectly imperfect” and “undeniably real.” The crime spree that Jason and Lucia go on in GTA 6 is said to be “hopeful and naive.” It will be exciting to see if Rockstar achieves the goals its set for itself with these characters and their story when Grand Theft Auto 6 finally releases on November 19. To find out what else the Love magazine GTA 6 article has to offer, fans will have to wait for the new issue to drop on October 5.
It’s unclear when the next GTA 6 update will be after the Love magazine drop on October 5. GTA 6 has already graced the cover of Game Informer, and there’s not a ton of time left between now and release to drop more trailers, but maybe that’s just what Rockstar will do. Rockstar and Take-Two have already gone all-out when it comes to GTA 6 marketing, but more can certainly be done in the lead-up to release.
Of course, the big question mark when it comes to GTA 6 is still its online multiplayer mode. At this rate, we aren’t expecting GTA 6‘s online multiplayer to release until some point in 2027, so fans likely won’t hear anything concrete about it until next year at the earliest.
