What to expect
Konami is keeping things vague, saying the livestream will “reveal the latest updates” from the Silent Hill series, but it has specifically called out Silent Hill Townfall. The game was first announced in 2022 and is a co-production between Annapurna Interactive (Stray) and No Code Studios (Stories Untold, Observation).
The other big Silent Hill game in development is Bloober Team’s remake of the series ‘very first game. The studio’s remake of Silent Hill 2 was a critical and commercial success, and the Silent Hill remake was officially confirmed in June 2025.
The first Silent Hill Transmission from 2022 saw the psychological-horror series revived with not one but three announcements. Series producer Motoi Okamoto explained how this was a deliberate move on Konami’s part, as the company wanted to show fans just how serious it was with its plans to resurrect the Silent Hill franchise.
