The newest entry in the beloved life simulation series from Maxis gives players no shortage of options to create their dream lives within the game, boasting a variety of furniture, outfits, and in-game jobs. The Sims 4 has introduced twenty-one full-fledged expansion packs since its launch in 2014, adding everything from new jobs and items to full career paths, alongside 12 smaller game packs. The game’s expansive library of content has also inspired countless fans.
The freedom allowed by both The Sims 4‘s character creator and building engine has led to countless impressive fan creations. Sims fans have built everything from sprawling castles and mansions to homages to cozy, minimalist homes within the life simulation game. The Sims 4 Player Builds Real-World Home from Zillow Listing
Reddit user TheBuzzAndGlow showed off their incredible recreation of a real-world home on the unofficial Sims 4 subreddit. The user shared several images taken from a Zillow listing for a home in Alabama set side-by-side with images of their Sims 4 home, showing off multiple rooms in the house. The impressive Sims 4 build painstakingly recreated the exact furniture arrangements found within each distinct room, though the user did have to make some omissions, like the attic and garage. The Reddit user also shared that players could find their re-creation of the Alabama home within The Sims 4‘s gallery, available under the same username as their Reddit post.

The Sims 4 build drew praise from many impressed fans in the comments of the post, praising the attention to detail within the recreation. Many fans commented on the sheer amount of time the project would have taken the user, going through rebuilding every individual room and properly arranging all the furniture based on real-world photos. One user even claimed that the house within the Zillow listing was theirs, praising the exquisite recreation of their real-life home. Other fans shared their own inspiration from the Reddit post, suggesting that they now intended to similarly create new homes in The Sims 4 based on real-world listings.
The Sims 4 has given fans plenty of outlets to share their own creations with the game’s community.
