A creative Sims 4 player has made an impressive build inspired by classic New York City neighborhoods, leaving fans inspired and delighted with their creation. The Sims 4 has hundreds of Build Mode items, giving players endless possibilities when it comes to making their own buildings and rooms. On top of this, the game’s Build Mode is easy to work with, so even beginners can easily jump in and turn their designs into a reality.

In 2022, eight years after its release, The Sims 4 became free-to-play. The base game features a plethora of building items that allow fans to build all sorts of homes for free. However, if they want to take it up a notch, they can also purchase DLC packs. There are kits and stuff packs that focus almost exclusively on Build Mode, but there are also expansion and game packs that, despite bringing many gameplay additions, also add dozens of creative items for builders. On top of this, The Sims 4 is one of the most modded games out there, so there is a lot of free custom content that adds even more items to Build Mode.

The Sims 4 Players Shouldn’t Sleep on One Common Household Item

The Sims 4 players can’t miss out on this essential Buy item that combines home clutter and functionality to change the entire household.

The Sims 4 Player Makes Incredible NYC Neighborhood In-Game

While CC isn’t for everyone, many Simmers use it to complement the game. One of these players has used CC to the best of their abilities and created a breathtaking New York-style neighborhood. Despite being from Sweden and never having visited New York City, Reddit user Comfortable_Lynx_657 was able to come up with an incredible replica of its architectural style in The Sims 4. Several redditors from New York assured the creator that the neighborhood they built was, in fact, quite similar to the nicer blocks in the city, but much neater.

Individually Built Areas in this Build:

  • Boxing gym
  • Bar
  • Bridal store
  • Bakery
  • Grocery store
  • Thrift shop
  • Florist
  • Children’s store
  • Cosmetics store
  • Sushi restaurant
  • Bookstore
  • Offices
  • Apartments

Within a few hours, the post received hundreds of upvotes on Reddit. Fans were impressed and wanted to know more about the design, particularly how they could add it to their save files in The Sims 4. Comfortable_Lynx_657 mentioned that they were planning on uploading it alongside a list of mods that others would need in order to have all items put in place. They also would like to add the unmodded version of it to the Gallery, but it might look too empty. The entire neighborhood is incredibly detailed, as the creator worked for over eight hours daily for two weeks to put the whole thing together.

The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies

Gamers looking to add these lots to their save files in the future should know that the build was originally designed in the Nordhaven, the The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies world. Therefore, the lots might look better placed there, as they have the exact dimensions required for each building, but gamers could surely find a way to fit them into a base game world. Newcrest would be the best candidate for these buildings, as its lots are empty, ready for players to put down whatever crosses their minds.

However, players with the Businesses & Hobbies and Get to Work expansion packs will be able to make the most of it, as the items are fully functional and would work great for those looking to open their own business or store. Even though players aren’t able to get their hands on this amazing neighborhood yet, there are dozens of beautiful Sims 4 creations in the Gallery, many of which can be turned into functional small businesses.
