According to a new leak, Star Wars Zero Company could be releasing on August 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This leak has surfaced just one day ahead of Star Wars Zero Company‘s gameplay reveal at Summer Game Fest.

Originally teased back in January 2022 and then officially revealed in April 2025 during Star Wars Celebration, Star Wars Zero Company is an upcoming turn-based squad tactics strategy game being developed by Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment. While Bit Reactor is a brand-new studio, it was founded by many former members of Firaxis Games, the developer behind the modern XCOM and Civilization series. Star Wars Zero Company will see players assume the role of Hawks, a customizable ex-Republic officer who’s been tasked with leading a band of misfit soldiers called ‘Zero Company.’ As a team, Zero Company will face a variety of threats in a story that begins during the Clone Wars and runs right up until the rise of the Galactic Empire.

Star Wars Zero Company Could Release in August 2026

In a recent Dealabs report from well-known leaker billbil-kun, Star Wars Zero Company‘s release date has been listed as August 27, 2026. A hot topic in the gaming industry right now, especially following the recent Sony State of Play presentation earlier this week, is that many upcoming games have set themselves a September release date, likely in an attempt to get out ahead of Grand Theft Auto 6‘s release in November.

As the slate currently stands, there are already at least five major titles set to release in September 2026, those being The Blood of Dawnwalker, Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. And that’s before any announcements that may be coming imminently during this 2026 Summer Game Fest season. An August release date would certainly give Star Wars Zero Company a bit more room to breathe this year. That said, it’s still only a week of breathing room before The Blood of Dawnwalker‘s September 3 release date, and an August 27 launch would see Star Wars Zero Company releasing on the same day as Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2.

Star Wars Zero Company Could Be Getting a Deluxe Edition, But There’s a Catch

Additionally, the recent Dealabs report claims that Star Wars Zero Company will have both a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Star Wars Zero Company‘s Standard Edition is said to retail for $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on consoles, while a Deluxe Edition of the XCOM-like strategy game will cost $10 more on all platforms. Furthermore, while the Standard Edition of Star Wars Zero Company will have both physical and digital purchasing options, the Deluxe Edition will allegedly be restricted to just a digital release.

There’s no word yet on what Star Wars Zero Company‘s Deluxe Edition will contain, but billbil-kun claims that there will be no early access period. With Star Wars Zero Company officially confirmed to be appearing at Summer Game Fest tomorrow, it’s very likely fans will get a release date confirmation if there’s any truth behind these leaks.
