Starfield‘s Terran Armada achievements are officially out, with several of them hinting at some previously unannounced changes. Bethesda published the list prematurely, several days before the new Starfield DLC is scheduled to go live.

Starfield‘s Terran Armada DLC was officially announced on March 17. It is due for release on April 7, debuting alongside the Free Lanes patch, which Bethesda describes as the game’s largest free update to date. The developer recently previewed the upcoming update-DLC duo with a three-minute trailer and an extensive accompanying write-up detailing new features and content set to debut later this month. However, it now appears that preview was incomplete, at least as far as the game’s second premium expansion is concerned.

Starfield Announces Free Lanes Update and Terran Armada DLC Alongside PS5 Release

Starfield launches on PS5 April 7 alongside Free Lanes and the Terran Armada DLC in the game’s biggest, most defining update since launch.

Starfield’s Terran Armada Achievement List Hints at Unannounced Features and More

The full Terran Armada achievement list went live on Steam on April 3, four days ahead of the DLC’s release. The list suggests the upcoming expansion will introduce additional features and content that Bethesda did not mention in its March 2026 previews, whether intentionally or not. For instance, the Master of Magnetism achievement references an entirely new Starfield location called New Babylon, where players will need to destroy a robot on behalf of an individual or group called Ivica.

Another revealing achievement from the recently shared list is Overclocked, which suggests that Delta, Starfield‘s new morally gray robot companion arriving as part of Terran Armada, will be upgradable. The scope of those upgrades remains unclear, but there are apparently enough of them for Bethesda to have decided to add an achievement for unlocking them all. Meanwhile, the This for That trophy suggests Terran Armada will introduce a significant new mechanic: the ability to hand over outposts to factions. How exactly this system will work remains unclear, leaving open questions such as whether the handover is reversible and whether players retain any outpost benefits afterward.

Master of Magnetism

Overclocked

Upgrades for Delta, the new robot companion.

This for That

Handing over outposts to factions.

Based on Bethesda’s historical tendency to tie trophies to quest completion, which is also reflected throughout Starfield‘s original achievement list, Terran Armada appears poised to introduce around three or four major questlines. The upcoming expansion will add 20 new achievements in total, increasing Starfield‘s overall trophy count by approximately 32%. For comparison, the Shattered Space DLC, which launched in September 2024, introduced 12 new achievements. That discrepancy does not necessarily mean Terran Armada will offer more content than its predecessor, although Bethesda’s recent preview suggested that may indeed be the case.

The April 7 arrival of Terran Armada and Free Lanes will coincide with the launch of Starfield‘s PlayStation 5 port. The PlayStation version has been in the works for some time, in part because it was planned during early production, scrapped following Microsoft’s March 2021 acquisition of Bethesda parent ZeniMax Media, and later greenlit again as part of the Xbox maker’s multi-platform publishing push, which began in early 2024.
