- Starfield players are discovering a variety of weird and ugly creatures while exploring its galaxy.
- One player found a particularly ugly alien while exploring what some Reddit users believe to be Leonis III.
- Some players have also encountered invisible animals and terrifying enemies, adding to the game’s appeal for exploration.
A Starfield player has found an incredibly ugly creature while randomly visiting a planet. Bethesda’s latest game offers a galaxy ripe for exploration, so Starfield players often find interesting locations and enemies, and this one stands out due to how weird its appearance is.
Starfield is among some of the more controversial games released in 2023. Soon after launch, Starfield received positive reviews. In the following weeks, though, many players criticized Bethesda’s new game for having bland quests and not featuring a proper way for interplanetary travel, for example, which somewhat tarnished the audience’s opinion about it. While each player’s opinions on the game can be distinct, the huge variety of weird enemies one can find when exploring its galaxy is hard to deny, and a gamer recently gave an example of that.
Starfield’s Steam Rating Has Gotten Even Worse
The continued dissatisfaction with Starfield has caused its Steam rating to sink, but a recent change may be an even more troubling look for the game.
A player called HeroicJakobis recently shared a picture of a really ugly monster they found in Starfield. The creature looks like some weird, scaly, and somewhat Lovecraftian being with big opaque eyes, a long elephant-like trunk, and viscous skin. When compared to other Starfield creatures, it certainly stands out due to its strange shape. While the original poster did not remember where this ugly alien came from, another player pointed out that it was probably a monster called Flocking Snuffler Scavenger which can be found on Leonis III.
This is far from the only weird alien that can be found in Starfield, though. Players are still encountering a wide variety of dangerous, uncanny creatures in the game, including Starfield enemies which are scarier than Terrormorphs, one of the most well-known enemies in the game. In a video shared by a player some months ago, for example, it’s possible to see a big ugly spider-octopus-inspired creature that looks vicious and ready to hunt the player.
While this abundance of weird monsters may be a highlight of Bethesda’s space exploration RPG, some players may find something even stranger if they look hard enough: a planet with invisible animals in Starfield. Players who visit Newton III may find a small planet with seemingly normal flora, but a unique fauna, as the only three native animal species of the planet are invisible due to having the Camouflage trait.
Hopefully, Starfield players can find even more interesting creatures that are still unknown to most people. One of the main strengths of the game is the sheer size and variety of its explorable galaxy, and surveying new creatures can be an interesting activity for players.
Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield is a sci-fi action role-playing game where players interact with multiple factions, engage in combat, customize their main character and ship, as well as explore a universe that features over 100 systems and 1,000 planets.
