In a statement released on Steam, developer PixelCrown Games revealed that it plans to permanently delist its 2023 2D shooter Witchcraft: Candy Hunt on Steam, describing it as “an important stepping stone” for the team. The developer reiterated its dedication to its current game in development, a dark fantasy action platformer named GODSCALE. Users who have the game in their library before it’s delisted can keep and play it forever, giving them a limited window to get Witchcraft: Candy Hunt completely free of charge.
Unfortunately, developer PixelCrown Games has not revealed when Witchcraft: Candy Hunt will be delisted from Steam. When a developer wants to take a game down, it must first submit a request form to Valve, which then follows its own procedure to delist it. This means that, as with most delisted games, the amount of time users have to claim Witchcraft: Candy Hunt 100% free on Steam is entirely up to Valve. That’s why users should claim it as soon as possible; once it’s gone, it’s unlikely to return.
