A new Steam deal gives PC gamers a chance to get the beloved 10/10 action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for just $1, although it’s possible that it is replaced with a different AAA or indie game on Steam. It’s a bit of a gamble, but Steam users are going to walk away with a solid game regardless.

As many RPG fans should know, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 released in early 2025 and was considered by many fans to be Game of the Year. Over on Steam, it sits at a pretty 92% Very Positive after 66K player reviews. In Game Rant’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 review, we wrote that it “is a masterclass in historical immersion, player-driven storytelling, and deeply rewarding role-playing mechanics. It refines everything that made its predecessor a cult classic while making strides in accessibility, realism, and its living world.”

Fanatical Deal Gives You a Chance to Get Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for $1 (Or Less)

An ongoing Fanatical deal lets players pick up a bunch of Steam Keys on the cheap, with the more Steam Keys someone buys, the cheaper each key is. 1 Steam Key is $1, while 25 Steam Keys is $17.49 (or roughly 69 cents a key). What players receive is not guaranteed, but the average Steam rating of the games included remains Very Positive. Every week, the Fanatical deal has been updated to include even more AAA games, with the latest update adding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to the Fanatical line-up that includes Oblivion Remastered, Doom: The Dark Ages, and more.

It bears repeating that nothing is guaranteed and this is essentially a raffle designed for folks who want major AAA games but would still be quite happy with a cheap Steam game. After all, the smaller indie games are more likely because there is a catalog of over 500 games with a pool of keys available from each one. In short, it’s a high-risk, high-reward deal that only players comfortable enough getting something from the smaller side of the pool should pursue.

It’s worth noting that this Fanatical deal has included complete, deluxe, or ultimate editions for past additions, but that’s not the case for Warhorse’s open-world game. Still, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has a bunch of DLC fans should consider purchasing if they manage to swing this cheap deal. Brushes with Death sees protagonist Henry helping an enigmatic artist, one with shadowy connections; Legacy of the Forge lets players hone their blacksmithing skills and explore the legacy of Martin, Henry’s adoptive father; and Mysteria Ecclesiae explores a mystery tied to Sedlec Monastery, bringing KCD2’s DLC run to an end.

Overall, if anyone has been waiting to pick up Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on a deal, it’s unlikely that it drops to $1 for a complete 100% purchase anytime soon. This may be the best possible deal, for some players, at least for a long, long time. But getting into it now is probably a good idea since Warhorse has already confirmed it’s working on a brand-new Kingdom Come game too.
