Suikoden I & II HD Remaster is on sale for $30 at Amazon during the retailer’s Black Friday 2025 sale. The $20 discount matches the best deal so far for Konami’s great collection of two classic PS1 JRPGs on consoles. You can grab this deal for Nintendo Switch, PS5, or Xbox Series X. PC players can take can get a very similar deal at GameSpot sister site Fanatical. Steam keys are discounted to only $27.49 during Fanatical’s Black Friday sale.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune & Dunan Unification Deals:

We rounded up more JRPG Black Friday game deals for Nintendo Switch and PS5 at the bottom of this story.

$30 (was $50)

The remasters of both games feature HD sprites and backgrounds, enhanced sound effects, and QOL options like auto-saving, adjustable battle speeds, and a conversation log for reviewing previous dialogue.

Suikoden II is widely regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time, and it holds up incredibly well here. The first game doesn’t have as much gameplay depth, and the story isn’t as compelling, but it’s still a solid experience that’s worth trying. That said, if you bounce off of the original, you should still try the sequel, which is worth the price of admission on its own.
