- These characters will apparently accompany Eddy Gordo and Craig Marduk in the first season pass.
- As always, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, with fans waiting for official confirmation before getting too excited.
According to a new leak, Tekken 7‘s Lidia and Fahkumram will be included in Tekken 8‘s first season pass as DLC fighters. Tekken 8 has a roster comprised of a healthy mix of newcomers and veterans. Some of the characters that were introduced in Tekken 7 have returned for the eighth mainline entry, which include the Wing Chun practitioner Leroy Smith, the exorcist Claudio Serafino, and the Saudi Arabian fighter Shaheen.
Tekken 8 is already set to get DLC, with a season pass of four additional fighters. Tekken 8‘s first DLC character will be Eddy Gordo, a veteran who has been a part of the franchise since Tekken 3. Fans believed that Eddy was a shoo-in for Tekken 8, based on a leak from December 2023, along with Eddy being an iconic character of the franchise. While no details about the other three fighters have been revealed by Bandai Namco yet, a new leak has provided some hints about the characters that might be included in the upcoming season pass.
Tekken 8 PC Mod Improves Visuals Beyond Ultra Graphics Settings
One Tekken 8 fan shares a mod that changes a number of the game’s graphics settings, allowing for visuals even higher than ultra quality.
This leak comes from dataminer Shootmans, who posted an extensive Twitter thread that detailed Tekken 8‘s possible DLC roster. According to Shootsman, these data entries point towards how Tekken 7‘s Fahkumram and Lidia will be making a return. These claims are supported by elements of a character’s listed fighting style and even country of origin being left in the game, which include an unknown fighter from Poland and a character from Thailand who uses Muay Thai, both descriptions fitting Lidia and Fahkuram respectively.
Possible Tekken 8 Season Pass 1 Roster
- Eddy Gordo [Confirmed]
- Craig Marduk
- Lidia Sobieska
Fahkumram was a brand-new Muay Thai practioner introduced to Tekken 7‘s roster, though fans found him a contentious substitute for the character he was replacing, Bruce Irvin. On the other hand, Lidia Sobieska was Tekken 7‘s final DLC character, who was praised for her design and fighting style.
Shootmans also presented evidence that Craig Marduk, another fan favorite and highly requested character, would be returning as DLC. This claim was based on how data previously found in Tekken 8‘s closed network test was left in the final release, along with Australia being added as a country of origin for an unknown character. Shootmans believes that the characters will be released in summer, autumn, and winter 2024, though he doesn’t know the order of the characters.
This roster is different from the previous Tekken 8 DLC leak, which claimed it was going to include Eddy, Xiao Meng, Armor King, and Roger as DLC. Shootsman theorizes that Armor King and Anna Williams will likely be included as Season 2 DLC, while also claiming that the Xiao Meng character was just someone trolling the community. Fans should take this leak with a grain of salt until Bandai Namco presents more official information about Tekken 8‘s upcoming DLC.
Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 is the franchise’s debut entry on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and the fighting game is built in Unreal Engine 5. The story revolves around Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama’s relationship.
