DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations Goes Live July 7
Amid all the game reveals during the Xbox Games Showcase, id Software shared glimpses of what DOOM fans can expect in the upcoming expansion. DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations launches Tuesday, July 7, on all platforms that the base game is currently on. A new trailer revealed that Revelations will take place inside a purgatory within the mind of the Doom Slayer. With some of his arsenal broken and damaged, the Doom Slayer joins forces with a mysterious ally to brave the dangers within this dangerous prison. According to id Software, the Doom Slayer must fight “an abomination of the gods” to set his followers on the right path. DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations expansion will include a new weapon called the Chain Spear to add more mobility and power to the Doom Slayer’s arsenal. The Chain Spear can be used for powerful close-range strikes and can parry bullets.
