It faced a small amount of criticism for its technical issues, but developer Questline has been hard at work since launch releasing tons of huge updates to improve the game.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon Releases Free DLC That You Can Download Right Now
Questline has announced the launch of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon‘s Bonus Content #2 DLC. The pack adds 21 new magical weapons to the open-world game, which are “designed to expand your combat options and kickstart some new character builds.” All the weapons can be purchased at various blacksmiths throughout Acts 2 and 3, and also found as unidentified loot during Wyrdnight. According to the developer, this content pack has been released to make up for the fact that the more expansive planned DLC for the end of March has now been pushed to early April, but it didn’t want to leave players empty-handed. Players can download Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon‘s Bonus Content #2 DLC right now, completely free of charge.

In the announcement of Bonus Content #2, Questline reaffirmed that another free DLC pack is on the way soon. The developer confirmed that this will be a story content DLC, and while it’s “definitely not the size of a full-fledged expansion like Sanctuary of Sarras,” it hopes that it will be “still a nice bite” of content for players.
It’s great to see the developer continuing to support Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon with plenty of free content. Because it’s a single-player title, Questline has little to gain by releasing free DLC, and it shows a real commitment to making it the best game it possibly can be. Earlier this month, the studio launched Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon‘s massive 1.20 update, which added a huge amount of content to the game’s third act, which has often been cited as one of its weak points. Hopefully, this level of support for the game will continue well into the future.
