A dedicated player of The Sims 4 has created a highly detailed house for others to enjoy. Maxis’ simulation franchise has been going strong since the first game was released back in 2000, and 2014’s The Sims 4 was no different, proving to be a massive hit for fans. The game alone has received over 15 DLC packs to date, with the most recent content launching in 2023.
With The Sims 4 approaching a decade of availability, fans have mastered the rich creation tools found within the game to create and share unique characters and buildings. Over the years, the dedicated community has shared many breathtaking creations, and has even used mods to incorporate characters like Diablo 4’s Lilith into The Sims 4. Now, one fan has used their skill to craft a cozy creation that has been shared for all to see.
Sims 4 Fan Creates Impressive Build Using Only the Base Game and the New Castle Estate Kit
A player builds a massive castle in The Sims 4 while turning to barely any additional content, making an impressive build with a single kit expansion.
A player going by the username of alexia_art over on Reddit, has posted an incredibly detailed house built entirely in The Sims 4. The picturesque abode comes complete with signs that hang from the exterior walls, a quaint bicycle resting outside the front door, and a myriad of plants that give a lived-in feeling. The two-story building has been created fully using The Sims 4’s proprietary SmartSim engine.
This Detailed Sims 4 House Looks Incredibly Cozy
Understandably, the cozy structure has drawn a lot of attention from fans, with over 4k upvotes at the time of writing and many comments praising the design of the building. In a subsequent post, alexia_art confirmed that due to the proximity of many items, the structure is only for aesthetic purposes and cannot be inhabited by any Sims. While that might disappoint some players, the cozy house has still been added to The Sims 4 gallery for folks to download to their game and enjoy.
The Sims 4 gallery is not only where players can get ahold of alexia_art’s building, as players can enjoy a vast number of other large houses like a 1900s-inspired Glided Age Mansion that has been painstakingly created in The Sims 4. The large structure contains numerous rooms for entertainment, as well as a fully open attic space where players can create whatever they want.
While the community of Sims fans is still passionate about sharing their latest creations, attention is turning to the next entry in Maxis’ long-running franchise. The game, currently known as Project Rene, is set to heavily build on the customization and cross-platform play when the long-awaited title releases. Owing to the age of The Sims 4, many fans are expecting Project Rene to be revealed as The Sims 5 when it eventually releases.
The Sims 4 is the latest entry in EA’s iconic social simulation series. Like its predecessors, The Sims 4 lets players create characters known as Sims, with their appearance, dress sense, and personality all being customizable.
The Sims 4’s main innovation to the series was The Gallery, which lets players upload and download custom-made Sims, houses, and other creations.
