Thanks to recent announcements, it’s clear that 2027 is already stacked when it comes to the new games coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, specifically the Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers. Xbox Game Pass has been on a hot streak these last few years, with Microsoft ensuring that the service has an unending supply of incredible day one game releases.
Almost all the games under the Xbox Game Studios umbrella are guaranteed to be day one Xbox Game Pass games, with new Call of Duty titles the sole exception. Deals are made with third-party publishers to secure even more major day one games for Xbox Game Pass, so subscribers that play a lot of titles definitely get their money’s worth and then some.
Xbox Adding New Flexible Game Pass Options
It appears that Microsoft’s flagship gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, could receive more flexible options as soon as summer 2026.

Other big Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for 2027 do not have specific release dates just yet, but are confirmed to be releasing next year. Spyro: A Realm Beyond is releasing next spring, while Bad Magpie, Clockwork Revolution, Senua, and State of Decay 3 have all committed to vague 2027 release windows.
Out of all the new Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for 2027 so far, there are a few that stand out more than others. The Fable reboot is potentially going to be the flagship Xbox Game Pass game for next year, while Clockwork Revolution looks extremely promising as well. It was recently confirmed that Clockwork Revolution is going to be an Xbox console exclusive, which should make its release next year even more exciting for Game Pass subscribers.

It was also announced that Persona 6 is going to be a day one Xbox Game Pass game, though a release window for the highly-anticipated JRPG has yet to be announced. Rumors suggest that Persona 6 is going to be a late 2027 release though, and if that’s true, then next year should truly be a monumental year for the Xbox Game Pass service.
