Publisher THQ Nordic has just confirmed that it’s bringing three already-released video games to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. These games are Destroy All Humans! Remake, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. These three upcoming Switch 2 releases will be joined by SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, which is coming to the original Nintendo Switch later this year.

Generally speaking, Nintendo Switch 2’s third-party support is gradually getting much better. Back in August 2025, around two months after the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch, Digital Foundry’s John Linneman claimed that many third-party developers had been unable to obtain a Switch 2 dev kit prior to its launch. This is undoubtedly a major reason behind the Switch 2’s somewhat lackluster third-party support, with the hybrid handheld still suffering from a lack of titles from developers outside of big names like Capcom and Square Enix. While many developers are reportedly still finding it difficult to procure a Switch 2 dev kit as recent as February this year, it seems like the console might finally be about to receive the third-party support it deserves.

  • Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (Nintendo Switch 2) — October 6, 2026

On March 18, publisher THQ Nordic announced that three of its games are heading to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The first up to bat is the Destroy All Humans! remake, which originally launched in July 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. This is a remake of the 2005 Xbox and PlayStation 2 action game that sees players assume the role of an alien tasked with extracting DNA from humans and generally causing mayhem on Earth. When it debuted, Destroy All Humans! earned a Top Critic Average of 69 on OpenCritic, with review scores ranging from 5.5/10 all the way up to 8.5/10. Destroy All Humans! Remake will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 23, 2026.

On September 15, 2026, Destroy All Humans! will be joined on Nintendo Switch 2 by its sequel. Released in August 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed is a remake of the 2006 original. Much like the first game in the series, players assume the role of Crypto the alien who’s returned to Earth to wreak havoc once more. Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed received a similar critical reception to its predecessor, earning a Top Critic Average of 68 on OpenCritic.

On October 6, 2026, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. Like the two THQ Nordic games just mentioned, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is another remake, this time of the 2010 Wii-exclusive third-person platformer Epic Mickey. In this game, players take on the role of the eponymous mouse as he clears a fantastical world of Yen Sid’s evil creations using a magical paintbrush. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed fared quite a bit better than the Destroy All Humans! remakes, with it currently sitting at a Top Critic Average of 77 on OpenCritic, with 68% of critics recommending the game.

THQ Nordic also announced today that SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is being ported to the original Nintendo Switch on October 13, 2026. Titans of the Tide originally launched for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 last November, when it received a strong Top Critic Average of 77 on OpenCritic.
