Although Ultimate Battlegrounds has few settings and the combat system is limited to about ten techniques, there are still things that can confuse beginners. Below you will find tips to help you become the best fighter in Ultimate Battlegrounds.
Use Shift Lock
Some Roblox experiences have two modes of mouse control. When you first enter the game, you can use the cursor to interact with the interface and press the right mouse button to control the camera. However, after you press Shift or Ctrl, you will control only the camera, just like in a full-fledged computer game.
Apply the Best Settings
In the left corner of the screen, press the Menu button and then go to Settings. The first option in the list is Performance Mode, you will likely not need it, but if your device is weak, this mode can help. Camera Shake is recommended to be reduced to about 10-20 because it is distracting during the battle.
In the Game section, if Auto Ability is enabled, you apply abilities immediately after clicking on them, if disabled, you will only select the ability first and then apply it with the attack button. Auto Run should be enabled, otherwise, you will need to press W twice to run.
In the Appearance section, you can turn off Character Cosmetics to ensure good performance, especially if your device is weak. Also at the very bottom of the settings, you will find the Hide UI option. You can use it to hide the UI completely and immerse yourself in the game.

Learn Combos
In the bottom right corner of the screen, you’ll see a tooltip for dash, block, and camera. However, after a few punches, another tooltip will briefly appear there to show you what you need to press for an additional movement. To perform a series of uppercut punches, press the attack four times and hold Space while doing so. For a dash attack, press Q after three hits. To do a downslam, press attack three times, then Space, and then attack again. To use abilities, simply press 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the keyboard.
Fight to Get the Ultimate
During the battle, the bar above the skill will gradually fill up. When it is full, you can press G to use Ultimate. This will put you in a state where all your abilities and attacks will be much stronger for a while. You can see how long the Ultimate will last by watching the bar run out.
