Rebreather fragment location #1

• Location: This Subnautica 2 Rebreather fragment is approximately 320 meters south-southeast of the Lifepod.
• Tip: As you swim toward the area, you’ll pass by the Welcome Center. Eventually, you’ll come across a rock formation with several pillars jutting out. This is actually part of the objective for the Chap blackbox signal. Just a short distance away, you’ll notice some debris and crates. The Rebreather fragment is just lying around.

Rebreather fragment location #2

• Location: Around 300 meters south-southwest from the Lifepod.
• Tip: This location is actually a well-hidden Colonist Bunker that rewards a permanent upgrade. You can scan a Rebreather fragment inside the hab.

Rebreather fragment location #3

• Location: Approximately 300 meters north-northwest from the Lifepod.
• Tip: This Rebreather fragment is inside a crashed ship, which is also close to an Angel Comb Adaptation. You need to craft the Sonic Resonator to destroy the canker webbing, which allows you to gain entry.

Rebreather fragment location #4

• Location: Around 430 meters northeast from the Lifepod.
• Tip: The object is inside a massive wreck. You can swim underneath it to enter the cargo hold, but you still need a Repair Tool to pry open the doorway. Note that the datapad enables the Anomaly and Biohacking Chamber (i.e. Colonist Bunker/Biobed Upgrade) filters for your Scanner Station.

Other Rebreather fragments and required crafting materials

There are plenty of other Rebreathers in Subnautica 2. Examples include the crashed ship in Zezuran Desert, the platform outside the Research Station/Alien Base, and the cavern with the Ruby blackbox signal. However, since you only need to scan one object, you won’t need to bother with the rest.
