One of the most exciting parts of World of Warcraft: Midnight has undoubtedly been Player Housing. While the system has caught criticism from some World of Warcraft fans due to its decor cash shop, Housing has otherwise been near-unanimously praised. Players have created some truly fascinating works of art with Housing, which many are calling the best system of its kind in MMO history.

How to Get Free World of Warcraft x Pinterest Housing Decor
Now, World of Warcraft fans can pick up a handful of new Housing decor items for their homes with minimal effort. Recently, Pinterest revealed an IRL scavenger hunt in London, England, as part of another collaboration between World of Warcraft and an external brand. A few days later, WoW player and Redditor antronoid completed this treasure hunt and shared the QR codes that led to three Housing decor rewards: the Backboard and Hoop Playset, the Bluebird’s Golden Cage, and the Preserved Gift of Gilneas. Now, any fan can follow these simple instructions to obtain these items, without having to run all over London to do so:
- Head to the special World of Warcraft x Pinterest landing page.

Enter a name, email address, and the following three codes:
- Horde Board – grants the Backboard and Hoop Playset.
- Azeroth Inspiration – grants the Bluebird’s Golden Cage.
- Kalimdor Collage – awards the Preserved Gift of Gilneas.
- Generate the codes for all three items via Pinterest, then enter them into the Battle.net launcher to obtain the decor.

The Backboard and Hoop Playset is a charming basketball hoop decor item for sports fans who wish to take their hobby into the virtual world. The Bluebird’s Golden Cage features an adorable blue-violet bird that moves around in its small cage. Lastly, the Preserved Gift of Gilneas is a gorgeous rose inside a glass case, complete with petals that occasionally fall to the bottom. Given the Victorian werewolf-like Worgen of Gilneas in World of Warcraft, this reference to Beauty and the Beast is thematically perfect.
Players should be aware that the giveaway site was briefly taken down due to high volume, though it has since returned. If this happens again, it should not be offline for long.
These items are a part of a greater World of Warcraft x Pinterest collab. By linking one’s WoW and Pinterest accounts from the MMO’s options menu, fans can use the new Pin-o-Matic camera toy to take images in-game and post them directly to Pinterest. While this aspect of the collaboration is seemingly indefinite, the three decor item codes must be claimed by April 6, with redemption in the Battle.net launcher until May 31.
Get Even More World of Warcraft Housing Decor Via Zillow
World of Warcraft is also giving away two different pieces of Housing decor via a collaboration with Zillow. The first, the Naturally Elegant Doormat, is claimed directly from the landing of the World of Warcraft-themed Zillow page. The second can be obtained by going to the search map for the faux real estate listings and refreshing until the fake Greener’s Plant Nursery ad shows up; clicking the “Free Sample” button grants players the Simply Adorned Vase and Flowers decor as well.
Once gamers obtain these items, additional copies of the Pinterest and Zillow Housing decor items can be purchased from Tuuran in Silvermoon City, Gabbi in Orgrimmar, and Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City, all of whom can be found near each hub’s Trading Post. These vendors sell duplicates of all promotional decor items, including the Cuddly Void Grrgle plush that World of Warcraft is giving out as a Twitch Drop starting March 26.
