World of Warcraft just revealed two Twitch reward campaigns that start on February 26: a pair of Twitch Drops and a Support a Streamer campaign. These World of Warcraft collectibles can be obtained when Midnight early access begins, rather than the expansion’s full release.
The clock has nearly struck Midnight in World of Warcraft. The long-awaited expansion arrives on March 2, bringing with it four zones, two of which are never-before-seen corners of the World of Warcraft universe. An increased level cap, the Haranir Allied Race, the Prey system, and more await fans in Midnight, where the fight against Xal’atath and the Devouring Host will come to a head.

Blizzard reveals a new zone for World of Warcraft’s upcoming Midnight expansion alongside a deep dive on what players can encounter there.
World of Warcraft: Midnight Twitch Rewards Available February 26
Now, to celebrate the upcoming release, World of Warcraft has revealed two Twitch reward campaigns. Players can get the new Cuddly Alliance Blue Grrgle and Cuddly Horde Red Grrgle Housing decor plushies as Twitch Drops, and the Fishmonger May pet as a Support a Streamer incentive. What’s more, fans don’t even have to wait until the expansion releases on March 2 to get them. Both Twitch campaigns begin on February 26, right when early access begins for players who pre-purchased WoW: Midnight‘s Epic edition.
How To Get World of Warcraft: Midnight Twitch Drops
The Twitch Drop campaign is simple and will be a reward any World of Warcraft fan can collect at no additional cost. Once the campaign starts, gamers simply need to tune in to any Twitch channel in the World of Warcraft category for a total of four hours to add the two Cuddly Grrgle plushies to their accounts.
- Connect one’s Twitch and Battle.net accounts via the Connections page on Twitch
-
From February 26 at 10 AM PT to March 24 at 10 AM PT, watch four hours of any World of Warcraft Twitch streamer to earn:
- Cuddly Alliance Blue Grrgle Housing decor
- Cuddly Horde Red Grrgle Housing decor
- Claim the drop from the Twitch inventory page
- Both decor plushies should be added to the player’s Housing decor catalog within 24 hours
The Cuddly Alliance Blue Grrgle is a blue and gold version of the Cuddly Green Grrgle, which was available as a Twitch Drop for World of Warcraft’s Pre-Expansion Update on January 20. The Cuddly Horde Red Grrgle is likewise a crimson and black variant. Of note, despite their obvious Alliance and Horde theming, both plushies can be placed in any house, regardless of faction or zone.
Once collected, additional copies of these plushies will likely be available to purchase with gold from the Promotional Decor Suppliers, Tuuran and Gabbi, near the Trading Post in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. These NPCs sell duplicates of promotional decor items, such as the Naturally Elegant Doormat from the World of Warcraft x Zillow promo.
World of Warcraft: Midnight Support a Streamer Campaign Explained
Beyond these free decor items, there is a Support a Streamer campaign that starts around the same time, though it has a price tag on it. After World of Warcraft: Midnight early access begins, players who purchase two subscriptions, either for themselves or as gifts, to any Twitch channel streaming World of Warcraft will obtain the Fishmonger May pet. Like with the Twitch Drops, the channels do not need to be actively playing Midnight early access in order to qualify.
- Connect one’s Twitch and Battle.net accounts via the Connections page on Twitch
- From February 26 at 3 PM PT until March 26 at 3 PM PT, purchase or gift two Twitch subscriptions to one or more channels live-streaming World of Warcraft to earn the Fishmonger May pet
- Once earned, the pet should be delivered to the connected World of Warcraft account’s collections page within 24 hours
Fishmonger May is an adorable blue seal pet wearing a purple Tuskarr coat who was datamined in the WoW files alongside Fishstick Keith, a brown version wearing a blue coat. This is the first time either of these pets has become available in the game, though they have both had Trader’s Tender costs associated with them. This could mean Fishmonger May might eventually find her way to World of Warcraft’s Trading Post, but if fans want to make sure they collect this battle pet, they won’t want to miss out on this Support a Streamer offer.
